But most of the players that the Flyers have are Canadian.

For instants....

Mike Richards, Chris Pronger, Jeff Carter, Scott Hartnell, etc....

Even Flyer legends such as Bobby Clarke, Bill Barber and Benie Perreaunt are Canadian born.

Most of them were moving during "O Canada" also. They are not doing it to be disrespectful, they do it to keep themselves loose. Also, have you ever tried standing still in ice skates for an extended period of time?

Railroadlover, 90 percent of the flyers are canadian. They only hear their national anthem when playing a Canadian team. Their options, from what I have been told is to move around or start vomiting. Since Lauren Hart is a great singer, it must be hard to hold it back. These guys are not your normal athletes. Watch things closer when observing hockey players!!!!!!!!!!

Even though i am american i find it disrespectful that the flyers are moving during the performance of O Canada.

@railroadlover why would this be disrespectful? I think it would be respectful for them to do so. It shows that they respect their opponents and respect that country. Even more so, most hockey players are canadian, as already stated, so they have all the right in the world to sway to O'Canada or any other athem sang before a game.
