@tvsbbs Everyone in Europe who consider Americans to be "Yankees" or "Yanks" for starters.... :) I have a ton of English and German friends, they ALL refer to North America as the "Yankee Country" LOL.... Although I must agree ABpimpify is VERY wrong in saying yankee, as yea, they are Germans... LOL.. pimpify is probably from Arkansas. :P LOL
i first heard this version many many years ago! ( 1997 i guess?) ..back then i didn't know it was a Rolling Stones' song!! (on the contrary, none of my friends new Rage!)
when i heard the original i thought it was a little bit too cheerful for the lyrics - i like this one more!!!
wait. you said "post up the real band" umm.. the real band are the Rolling Stones, who wrote the song in 1966... but I actually like this version by Rage... although people seem to get "Rage" and "Rage Against The Machine" confused.... :D
@omenwolfe Ahh semantics my friend. I know the Rolling Stones are the original artists, I even mention it in the description. Both versions are good for their own merits. Though I meant this version in particular getting misattributed.
LOL I totally get what you are saying, and I gotta say I really like this version, I love how they do the orchestra behind it with that flair of it building up to a climatic finish, and yet they bring it back down really subtly and keep you engaged throughout. Not too many bands have that ability!
