  • The teachers are doing something right. the girls are lookin great. one girl needs to not open up so much in arabesque and not star at herself( she needs to go to the rock school) the black needs to stop biting her lips. in any case i see potential in each and every one of you.

  • Great routine.

  • we play the first song in my ballet class! :)

  • well done

  • The person on the right side bars on the far Right at the front has real potential... Shes very elegant as well :)

  • @HelensClipz SO TRUE!

  • there are some nice feet in this class!

  • They all seem to have such nice arabesques! or is there some technical problem I didn't notice?

  • Comment removed

  • u really need to work on your arms and hands!

  • wow... you guys are very poised and steady... awesome job

it was really cool i wish i could do all that! i'm gonna keep practicing! haha!

  • they are wonderful technique wise, but no emotion. and quit staring at yourself in the mirror! using your head brings so much more life into your dancing!!

  • @lsrox1 this is a dance class youre supposed to look at the mirror constantly to self correct! Why do you think the mirrors are there?

  • @kimberley45am really? sometimes our teacher gets so angry when we stare at the mirror (we should be using epaulment), she makes us face the wall without a mirror for class. it's fine to peek once in a while, but you shouldn't stare

  • @lsrox1 They're just practicing. They are probably dead focused on getting the technique right. The last thing on their minds is bringing life into it, save that for a performance.

  • @SimplyMovement IM BEAUTIFUL IN MY WAY CUS GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES IM ON THE RIGHT TRACK BABY I WAS BORN THIS WAY

  • i want to try do move like that, i play myself :)

  • it is hardly 'professional' but some of them will go far i think- especially black leotard at the back

  • technique is all good but their faces are dead. No expression and thats one thing we were always taught. In order for us to move up both technique and artistry had to be there. And the other thing they lacked is extension through their fingertips. Long lines, not short lines and thats what happens when you cut your arabesque off at the wrist with a lower arm. Not just about the height of the leg. But beautiful dancers with great potential

  • most of them look like they're in pain o.o

  • @anitaownzu They probably are. That's not exactly easy stuff to do.

  • @Evanescence9582 of course not haha I would love to be able to do what they can do. Nonetheless it is rather distracting. Not that my face would have been any more pleasant. XD

  • okay, I don't think anyone looks like they think they are the shit, they look like they are working hard. the girl in the very back corner is gorgeous, her feet look like they are in flats, I"m jealous!

  • oh good lord that blonde girl in the back,

does she really think people cant tell that she thinks she a topshit with that arrogant face?

  • @PrincessSakuno LOLOL maybe that's just her "ballet face" You know, the face dancers make when they're concentrating really hard on their technique. Mine kinda looks like I'm in a trance.

  • @littlemekkker haha i duno, her strange lip pouting and eyebrow raising seems a bit unnecessary.

  • I would Love to get back into ballet and even Rhythmic gymnastics if I Can.

Can you get far in flexibility after having a ligament torn?

It healed, but stretching that leg is hard it hurts like it may tear again.

    (inner knee)

  • i do ballet pointe to and i can do all that but ppl ask if it hurst to go on your pointe but truely it doesnt but u have to strech ur ankles and the middle of ur feet if u want to be able to be on ur pointe but ur rite u shud never ever!!! turn ur butt to the crowd if i did that in my dance class i had to go to the ballet pole thingy and hold it wile i did the plits and heel stretches...its more painful then u think!

  • @Banapoly well i think that it would be weird and unfair if some girls' butts were facing the audience the entire time for a video. i know that during regular classes it is suppose to be that way but maybe they just changed it for the sake of this video

  • @Banapoly shut up you this is a prestigious ballet academy and you ain't got no rights to rag on anyone!

  • The girl on the right in the front has some pointe shoes that look like they are knuckling over. Is it the angle?

  • They try way to hard to get success of doing it perfect but they have no joy in there dancing they are very good and great bodies but.. Would it hurt to smile?

  • @megapancake23

You wouldn't want to smile Either. Besides smiling is for performances

  • @chiave1983 every practice and class (according to my last instructor) is a performance.

  • does it hurt doing the tip toe?...

  • @sinaihuerta yes it hurts.

  • WOW THERE PERFECT :O

  • @AdoreVicky Unlike your grasp on the English language.

  • @AnyaMercedes What???? I dont understand You !

  • omg!!!!! this is do good i love ballet so much!!!!! they are very good!

  • They need to be thinner. No REALLY good ballet company will hire them if they are not thinner.

  • @SimplyMovement It's people like you who bring up the rate of anorexia.

  • @SimplyMovement Its time to stop the ballerina stereo type! These girls are amazing. I dance there and all of these girls have graduated and gone to college and some have gone to amazing allet companies. The girl in the back dances with Bosten Ballet. Curvy girls make beautiful dancers. They cant help how there bodies are. Im probably the curviest girl in my level and i made myself puke a couple times beacuse of people Like YOU! They are strong, working hard and dedicated!

  • @SimplyMovement At CCBS we dont care what your body type is. As long as you take care of your body. If you work hard in class, you WILL get thinner. Do you not see how beautifully toned there legs are? Alot of ballet comapnies are changing there requirments. Just beacuse ur skinny doesnt make you a better dancer...

  • @SimplyMovement Not all dancers have to be thin!! And lots and lots of companies are changing! And these girls are muscular and thats a good thing!! They are probably just pure muscle!

  • @101dancerdiva sure it's nor just the american food that's made them this way? or that they don't train as much as the real professional dancers?

  • @101dancerdiva

All ballet dancers have pure muscle. Have you seen those russian ballet dancers? they train so hard their fat gets burned away or something. I just don't hink theese girls train as hard.

  • @SimplyMovement Dumb BITCH. It doesn't matter what size you are, as long as you can dance to a standard. People like you make me feel sick.

  • Beautiful movements and arabesques, but their arms (all of them) made me cringe.

  • they have beautiful legs but bad hands

  • @makingpeoplelaugh I agree

  • They're alright.

although, they are so boring to watch. They have no head direction and absolutely no emotion either.

  • Comment removed

  • from a professional point of view: not the best bodies for ballet, but some of them have potential. they need better arm positions, and need to aware of their square hip placement.

  • @thepirouettegirl1 We have to stop thinking about super thin girls being the only ones with ballet bodies.. These girls right here are the example of fit healthy (not saying that thin isnt healthy) girls that have talent and perfect placement in every position, plus great feet and extensions... So maybe it's ballet world that has to reconfigure its stereotype for a dancer and then many girls would be happier..

  • ПРИВЕТ коллеги!!!-ВЕСЬМА ИНТЕРЕСНО

  • Broken wrists and elbows. Just no.

  • Nice.

    But...

Not so hight techniqal school. I just mean - grande jete (! dangerous, old way! ), arms, and legs hanging.

    But nice :)

  • really? upper level students? ;S you guys are so behind.... I've seen a 6 yr old do better than that at my cousin's ballet academy no offense, and most of the students in this video don't have the adequate weigh to be a ballerina.

  • @MichelleTwinky You can't have see a 6 year old do better because 6 year olds don't do pointe.

  • @amaterasu777 yeah they do.... my cousin is studying ballet in russia and they start pointe at 5 and she WAS better than them.

  • @MichelleTwinky i highly doubt that. do you even know ANYTHING about ballet? if she's only 6 years old, she more than likely has poor control of certain muscles for turnout and such.if you are saying she is better than them because pf her build or flexibility, you are sadly mistaken.

  • @yaymeIamanut lol.... you really talk like you know but you really don't :] I don't need to know anything about ballet, I have SEEN those 6 yr olds on pointe shoes dancing amazingly, I'll assure you, you might find some youtube videos about them, just finished watching one of them actually, search kuramshinballet on youtube before saying anything to me, that person has videos of 6 yr olds who dance amazingly so fk off ;]

  • @MichelleTwinky yes, i HAVE seen those videos. the little girl has amazing technique for someone her age, but she has not developed very much artistry yet. that comes with age. the combination of technique and artistry makes a dancer. i have seen some amazing dancers, even better than that six year old and the girls in this video in person; up close in class and onstage. their technique made everything look like breathing, floating, almost, but there was no substance;they became boring to watch

  • @MichelleTwinky Word of advice for future reference: If your dance school puts your daughter en pointe at 5, grab your child and run!

But seriously. You don't start real ballet until 6 and then you have to wait till the foot plates grow in. This is all controlled by nature, no matter how amazing of a dancer you are, being en pointe at 5 will destroy your feet and no school would do that if they want to avoid a lawsuit. So your cousin (assuming you are telling the truth) needs to get out of it

  • @Karen1andKaren2 I know that, I never said the 6 yr old girl's teacher were smart on doing that I just said that girl is amazing, they usually start pointe at 5 yrs old there.

  • bad, bad hands

  • I love this video, really great and beautiful dancers!

But the blond girl in black leotard is overdoing it a bit...

  • @TheAuroraBallerina what's wrong with that?

  • @yaymeIamanut I just think she shouldn't have that arrogant kind of face, and her arms and hands are nooot good. Her feet are good though:)

  • Ballet is so beautiful.<3

  • anyone know what song this is? or what ballet class cd it's from?

  • is that caila ?

  • Good but dead with no feeling whatsoever you all look like your being tortured which makes the dancing look stiff and boring

  • @ProDancer6 im a dancer and jus to tell u in balet u gotta be proper ed

  • @ProDancer6 thats why these exercises are at the barre!! I bet that when these girls are dancing on stage, they show VERY good emotion and perform amazingly.

  • so graceful

  • why are there people in blue and black leotards??? shouldn't the school ask for one colour???

  • very nice video thanks for sharing hope u post more soon and thank you!

  • is my studio the only one that doesnt use bars?

  • @wuhkarma yeah...

  • omg, you girls are so talented, i kill to dance like all of you <3

  • i really wish i studied in an academy like that.

im not the best, but with hard work i could be good, but it is not the best feeling when the best ballerina in the school cant dance like these...

  • wow! These girls are really good! I'm just curious, why are some girls in black leotards and some in blue leotards? Also I was wondering if you provide a summer intensive? I would be 15 when I come (if) next year, but I was just wondering because we're always looking for new schools to experience, like princton, pittsburg, and NYCB. Thanks :)

  • how do the ranks work in ballet?

  • To tell the truth i think it's kinda wierd wene they stand on their toes.

  • i love those blue leotards!

  • They are amazing!

  • cavA, cava bien!

  • I wish there were more black girls in ballet...): i am like the only 1 except 4 this mixed gurl she my bff

  • @TheDancelover4ever my first ballet teacher was black, and she was both gorgeous dancer and professional, love her!

  • Lovely, but the camera work is giving me motion sickness. A tripod perhaps?

  • The blue one on the row closest to us on our left is quite good :)

    :) :)

  • beautiful :)

  • WOW

  • .......they dont go through any position at all in ron de jambe. . .

  • the girl in black at the front with Blonde hair, her hand is not right all droppy

  • this is a proper ballet class, would jump right in if I could.

  • don't sickle your foot!!!

  • that girl's arabesque is in the girl behind hers space....so you can see her trying to figure out what to do with her arm! haha

  • pft these girls are amsing

thy all have amsing bodies!! im so jelouse!!

this is a relly painfull exersise i agree

and its so hard to get 8 girls that in sync at the barr

  • absolutely painful exercise

    btw the girls are great!

  • I don't see any of these girls that need to go on a diet. I think they all look fantastic.

  • @misscutie Just curious, which girls do you think need to go on a diet?

  • i applause all of you ppl in the ballet industries. all the pain and tears you go through they YEARS to reach perfection! i am very proud of all of you!

  • they are wonderful!

  • Is this Mrs. Wu girls? They look Good!

  • The girl in the back on the right has a gorgeous use of of the floor.

  • @jammydoger10 If you are referring to the one behind the blonde in the black leotard I totally agree with you. She would have the gorgeous use of any floor she walked or danced on. As would the blonde in the black leotard and the girl in front on the far left in the blue leotard.

  • how old are they??

  • goooood the girl at the back in the black leotard !

  • I agree. The one behind the blonde in the black leotard. Also the blonde in the black leotard and the girl in the front on the far left in the blue leotard.

  • they are really good, but i dont like the way they hold barrs..

  • It looks like they're moving their hips a lot. :P

I have that problem too and my teacher gets on to me about it.

    lol

  • hey, what music is this? my school does a barre set like this, but the music is different. thanks!

  • why do they have different color leos?

  • love these girls!!! miss them a bunch but they are amazing <3 ALN

  • ahhh good ole times at CCBS gotta love it i miss you too girl! <3 ARD

  • no texture in the hands and the upper body has no breath. some of the girls are hiking their hips as well.....

  • beautiful, but i was just thinking that about the arms. haha I like how they're all dressed the same.

  • I really like the leotards. what type are they? =) thanks

  • Comment removed

  • its realy good! but your arms...

  • ARMS

  • technically good, but they need to fix their arms...

the energy is always on the finger tips. lengthen your fingers as much as possible. plus, do not stiffen your arms, keep them strong and sturdy, but do not make them so stiff that they do not look natural

  • they look good techniquely............but they look soo dead inside...its sad......what technique is this?????

  • I just turned 30 and I have to tell you, the majority of these moves are extremely difficult to execute; at least for a dried-bone hack like me. I really do want to practice some ballet but even the warm up proves to be an impossible task. Ballet requires an extremely firm and lean legs with incredible sense of balance.

  • hi I m also 30 and I do ballett since 4 years everything is possible , you have to try it!

  • Comment removed

  • woaw... i really like those Ronde jette

  • really good! beautiful posture and legs! tip - try and keep your wrists less bent, the arm line was great - but the wrists cometimes looked a little sharpe in 5th. and a smile wouldn't go a miss! :)) do you not enjoy dancing!?!? =P

other than that great technique! xxx

  • Thank you for your encouragement!

    Shir Lee Wu
