@nikenk47 Dead Space 1 is scarier in my opinion. Better atmosphere. But the controls let it down a small bit and the stomp and melee are USELESS! Dead Space 2 is more epic. Smoother controls. I guess Dead Space 1 is the cult classic and Dead Space 2 is the blockbuster sequel. Like Alien and Aliens.

Why not? You skin forms an effective enough barrier to prevent bodily decompression. So long as your nose, eyes, ears and mouth are sealed off, your body isn't going to lose pressure. I don't think the mask covers his ears, but he could always have some advanced form of earplugs.

It is a great weapon to have no matter what situation you are in. It has a good balance of its capabilities, there will always be ammo lying around for it, and even if you prefer another weapon, it will make an excellent backup weapon. As long as you strike for the weakpoints, it is very hard to go wrong with it. It maybe the first weapon you obtain, but dont let that underestimate its true potential. It was great in the first, and it is still great now.

@jackass543211 That's a tough one. Resident evil is probably the least scary in all, for the enemies are really slow and all. Silent hill, with combo of 0 visibility and things that can come out from anywhere, is pretty freaking scary. I would say Dead Space was scariest cuz your not just worried about the necromorphs, but about the people, and the fact that the Marker is messing with your head, gives it a panic stand point. Plus the fact that with the combat, you don't have the luxury of time

@jackass543211 Well, I wasn't really talking about the deaths. When I said you didn't have the luxury of time, I ment that the Necro's are after you and you have to kill em fast. In Silent Hill, the creatures do hit and run tactics, and are still somewhat slow, so you can take your time. As for FEAR, the first game was freaking as hell, but as it went on in the series, it went into a more combat oriented, couple freaking shit here and there.

From what I've seen, you have no weapons, monsteres literally coming out of thin air, and virtually no way to defend your self, this all gives an atmosphere of dread, dispare, and helplessness. The only thing I saw that you can do, is hide and pray to what ever God you worship.
