this is back when chino was a god! what happened, oh yeah, he got fat as fuck and started taking the deftones for granted. Im sure he feels like shit now that che has been in a comma for over a year and he never got to squash whatever the fuck was going on between the band. ....he doesn't sing the whole version....abe had the flu...and was throwing up behind the drum kit....chino was just stalling for time until abe sat back on the kit....same thing happened during 7 words.....abe started throwing up again....and a fan jump outta the crowd and sat on the kit...and played 7 words note-4-note....nice.

"Hostile" was my photography name back in the day....wow, that sux that my work was being passed out to everyone without compensation to me...the footage you have of "Root" at the beginning of that tape...is mixed with footage from the film, "The Philadelphia Experiment"...the effect of the light tunnel....but I only used that on the first song. It will always be a mystery how that tape got out. Thanx for the info!
