Come on with the hate, guys. Skate is a good game. Its sequels are good games. But Tony Hawk's Pro Skater was a good game too. Tony Hawk games were the shit, but the thing that killed them was Activision's countless reiterations of the games. I liked Tony Hawk up until Underground 2, and by that point they were putting out 2 a year because so many people liked them. Skate has 3 games over the past few years, and they're all good. Tony Hawk has like, 20 and some a good, but most are just nothing.

People! Stop comparing Tony Hawk games to the SKATE series! SKATE is good, Tony Hawk games are good, but the difference is Tony Hawk games are:

1) Out on PC (Except Project 8)

2) They're being made since PS1

And the SKATE games are:

1) More realistic

2) Only on consoles

Can anyone tell me if there has been a patch. Update released to stop the delay between the controller and the game? I want to buy this but the delay is putting me right off. I'm not too bothered about the graphics or the music (I can put my own on) but you can't play a game which relies heavily on timing that has such an amount of delay in it.
