  • I have a bad knee that tends to pop out of place when I twist it like that, it doesn't happen very often, but I try to avoid anything that might cause it. is there an alternative to the last move, should I bring my knees closer together or just skip it altogether?

    The same thing with the stretch after the first part.

  • WHOA! you rule Cassey :) I've made a promise to myself to do 30 mins of your workouts 5-6 times a week for the rest of the year. this made me realise how unfit i must be!! Also do you have something you'd recommend for core balance/strength? I am super flexible (like, my arms bend backwards the wrong way haha) and I've been told i should be working on getting core strength and to counter-act that so I don't get injuries down the line. but no idea what? my posture sucks too :( bit of a weakling

  • Killer killer killer workouts! If you had an exercise video I would definitely buy it! You really get to the point with your workouts, I get the same burn in a sixth of the time of a regular pilates video. Would love to see an inner thigh and hamstring focused workout.

  • hey cassey! i changed my lifestyle, i eat very healthy and i've done sports (fitness, aerobics) for 2 years but i didn't lost significant weight. now i've been doing almost every pilates exercise for a month but i didn't slim my thighs at all:(.. by the way i love your exercises! i work out between 50-70 mins every day and still no change. am i doing something wrong? i'm getting really upset and i don't want to get out until my thighs are slimmer.. please i need an advice!

  • where are the alignments ? Isn't your hips should be in neutral position (your top hips looks a little bit forward in kneeling position) and your hips should stay still ? isn't it not just about the glutes, but also hip disassosiation and to stretch all the hips joint ? what makes pilates difference with just another exercises ? this is so confusing for me haha..

  • @vivijunita just lay comfortable on your side, if one hip is slightly more in front its fine... trust me this one is all about your butt... but anything that works with your butt means that your using your hip flexors... relax... just try and you will enjoy... oh and pilates dont bulk you up, they look easy but they are alot harder ok not harder like complicated but like you feel the burn faster then you think you would. its almost like yoga...

  • at about 7 min in youre hyperextending your elbow which i do to D= but i found that when doing exercises where the elbow naturally extends, if i hold it so its not facing outwards i also get an arm workout as well =) food for thought.

  • hey! nope, they won't make your muscles bulkier. what it will do is make your muscles lengthen and get more defined. you'll love it.

  • Pilates will def help you define your muscles and slim down your thighs. But you need to do cardio like dance, kickboxing, or running in order to get rid of fat. Because you can have nice muscles but no one can see them if they are hiding under a layer of fat! Lemme know of your progression.
