T, when fighting big groups you can attack too. You don't have to just hold down right trigger and wait for counters. Just attack and then when you see them get ready to swing, hit counter. I've taken out groups of like 35 guards. It's so fun

hey Tmartn heres a game type. im a huge assassins creed fan boi and when ur in a fight with multiply guys after u kill a soldier u can move ur left joy stick to high light another enemy and do a one shot kill to finish him after. if u do it right u can have a sequence

Don't forget, Tmart, once you kill a guy, you can start a killstreak by automatically killing every guy with a one hit kill by simply attatcking another guard after killing the previous one, that makes sense, right?

don't forget that you can make kind of a killstreak if you have one successful counter you can basically keep pressing x and everyone is a one hit till you streak gets interrupted by an enemy attack that is not countered.

So keep pressing x till you see an enemy attacking then counter again and then go on. In the early stages it will almost work every time but later on there are better guards that can block it. You might have missed that because you haven't played Brohterhood
