I'v played both WoW and WAR. During all my time playing WoW I always felt that there wasn't enough conflict between me and alliance/horde characters. (NPC's dont count) and WAR fixed that up. Although I do miss being a minotaur, being a moving brick-wall slamming into groups of people(not NPCs), is fucking sweet.

From your point of view this game may be better. But the majority speaks when you look at the numbers. WH has a player base around 250k players last time I looked, WoW has over 10 million. The majority has spoken. And I play in a guild that focuses on PVP and I can tell you that none of us found it more fun than wow PVP.

wow is more a pve focused game,new pve stuff come from an armada of developers and it makes you farm every 2-3 month new stuff and generaly its easier for a casual player to enjoy the game.

War main focus is open rvr, its unforgiving and unbalanced, casual players can be destroyed in seconds by organized guilds and without proper party or warband you can have quite a frustrating experience.
i like War but i have the guild and the free time to enjoy the game.

why do you guys even bother to compare there 2 games, they are both great games but they are totally diferent, WoW is PvE based, WAR is PvP based, you wont find a better PvE or a better story in any other game like it was in WOW pre TBC thats for sure and you wont find a better outdoor PvP then it is in WAR. WAR just gives you way more options and it distances itself from the week in, week out PvP/heroics/arena/raid/rep grinds that ruined WoW. The crafting system for instance is really awesome, no more farming recipes, it gives you way more freedom. It's true that you get stuck in the landscape for a few seconds once in a while but im sure they ll fix that. And what i personally like is that the focus of the game is on PvP or RvR how its called in WAR.

IMO Just because of the fact that world of warcraft boast a fair PvP system along with better control of your character. Also WoW offers some what of a story line that you can follow. Yes Warhammer has better graphics and unique classes, so does guild wars but no one likes that game.

I wonder why..WoW has existed for over 5 years, WAR came out like max half a year ago..back in 1.4 it didnt have as many "opportunities" as WAR has now..In fact WAR comes pretty close to WoW in opportunities as it is right now. Maybe not quite as many quests/gear but hell it gives you a lot of freedom and doesnt "force" you to grind instances/raids/rep/honor/arena points. besides number of players doesnt mean anything. WoW has the lowest PC requirements, age requirement and is easiest to get by
