@12zuzus Sorry, but just to correct you that she is NOT using her whistle register. She belting in her head voice because normally, G5 is belted in the head voice. Besides, the sound of her voice should be tinier if she's hitting the whistle register.

@12zuzus uhh I measured the note with my piano and it was G5 or G#5 (if i'm mistaking). G6 is way higher than what she had sounded. and I'm pretty sure it's head voice, not whistle register because it doesn't seem like she hit in that register.

@LoVeGuarDiAnGeL No. Falsetto and head voice basically is the "same" but falsetto has that "airy" sound while notes in the head voice are clearer. It's obvious that Sunny isn't singing in falsetto since there's no "air" when she hit high notes, so she's obviously singing in her head voice. If she wants to go higher, like really high, she has to sing in the whistle register (if she can)

I have been looking for this clip for sooo long! I'd only heard a the whistle register part, but the rest of the song is kind of disappointing. I think Sunny's vocals have grown leaps and bounds since this performance, but here she's shaky, sometimes flat, and her phrasing is pretty bad. The whistle note was pretty impressive, but I feel like she practiced that part really hard while not paying attention to singing the rest of the song technically well.
