New General Electric engines save 20% fuel, less emissions + more powerful + that will make it fastest tanker in the sky. U can't laugh at Boeing KC-135 tanker, Crikey look how long its lasted? How about the Indian 767 Tanker, they have no complaints. The Americans do not want a foreign tanker, do U think the Russian or Chinese are any different? @LottoWinner999 I am laughing at the 30 year old piece of crap 767 Boeing submitted for Tank-X. KC-135 was fine for its day, we have 14 of them to be replaced by A330 MRTT The 767 has 25% less range and 32% less payload so sure it will be more fuel efficient because it isn't as effective. The Indians selected the MRTT for their Tank-X, they are just too cheap to not buy Russian. Airbus already won Tank-X last time, it is protectionist BS when Europe buys so much American crap.
