STS9 is probably the best bend ever that I have seen live, and I've only been to one of them but it was the greatest- During a Red Sox game in boston at the Avalon right across from Fenway during a Play off's game that they won. The streets were packed with rioting on the street after the game. Some people tipped over a car. What a bunch of idiots and drunk people. Whatever though the added vibe along with the performance was great. It totally added to the mood of the music.

This video is great, but doesn't begin to do it justice. The way the music literally has control over the audience is unlike anything I've ever felt watching any other band. Tribal....

its not the drugs that makes sts9 its the raw passion that the group as well as the tribe family brings! the true love behind the WHOLE picture is what makes sound tribe who they are!! Thank you for posting this! great show! 05 was a fun year to have seen them! much love and keep it tribal!!

@420callmegod shpongle and sts9 are completttteeelllyy different types of music, that cant be compared to each other in the same type of music, shpongle is live dj sets, this is a real band. get it right. ive seen both live
@hashsmk4life While Shpongle is a live DJ set during most of their performances in the US. They've played 10 shows with a full live band, which are pretty absurd. But STS9 and Shpongle are very very different entities nonetheless. Although I'd personally rather see the full shpongle act than 2010 tribe.
@benjamonkey115 sadly, tombizzurt has a point with the "frat boy band" comment. obviously these guys aren't looking for that scene but i've noticed that the vast majority of people in my area that go to sts9 shows are fratstars who go just for the drugs and couldn't give two shits about the music. normally i wouldn't judge that crowd but i figured i might as well offer another opinion. plenty of other more electronic bands have the same issue, which is why i stick with phish :)
