I just read this scene in the novel. It made me cry!

the police guys in my production couldnt sing either. I was the Bishop. (and Im a girl) THe bishop has a good voice too

The one were doing atm, there weren't really enough males that were great singers left for small parts like the constables.

This Valjean has a too weak voice in the beginning of the scene... He has to be quite angry at that moment in the show...

personally i think that the Bishop has a much better voice than Valjean some dodgy casting there I think....

I think i was just getting pissed off by Valjean not wearing shoes, and no having long hair..good voices though.

All of the costumes except mine are based on the original broadway production. We ordered from Broadway Costumes, Inc., who recreates them.

My costume was an actual priest/bishop's robe, borrowed from a church.
