@keleic She just lost her three higher octaves and a bit of her first one. She says she has about five good low notes and that's it, and even they sound sort of fried sometimes.

They really are a couple of sorts--a couple of friends, it is true--but it's been going on for a long time, and they obviously love each other, not as Julie loves Blake (he is still with us, i trust?), but it's a hell of a big love going on there between these two marvelous women. Does our hearts good just to look at them, never mind listen to them speak or sing together or to see them look at each other. Years of friendship, no sinking ship in sight.

@Seyahhsod I believe this was in the early 2000's, a few years after Julie's surgery. Carol did the "Putting It Together" in 2001, I think. Julie's voice is a lower range but still has that Julie sound.
