That 2.8 is carborated , the 2.8 liter engine didnt get throttle body injection until 1986. The 2.5 liter got TBI In 1985.

I can guarentee that's not a stock dually - By the way, you can buy that Limited Edition badge at any Walmart or auto part store. The reason it is converted to a dually is just for the looks. Many people do this to their small trucks, s10's, rangers, etc. It's not hard, but it's pointless and breaks the bank when tire time comes around.

1985 S 10 with a 2.8 liter engine you can tell by the power steering pump location along with the ac pump and if you want to tell me it isnt fuel injected go ahead but I have more s-10's to last a life time starting from 1984 until my 2002 that I still currently have right now

First, 4.3 V6 was not availiable on the S10 in 1985. only the 2.5 four-banger & 2.8 v6. ( at the first fo the video you can see the 2.8 v6 badg on the left front grille area, and also look closely at the carbretor and the engine. its a 2.8. ( also you can see the original dump-body fenders behind the added-kit fenders. Its comon to build these trucks using the rear diff and wheels from a toyota 1-ton RV chasis.

Yep dont come as a dually one it would be called a S-30 if so two you can so tell that it has dual tire adapters you can buy from jc whitney and three the limited edition emblem is 4.99 at autozone. 1985 should be carbarated and looks carbarated. The TBI fuel injection had a different air cleaner I think plus it wasnt till 1987 when the trucks went to fuel injection. The fuel injection air filter is up next to the windshield washer fluid and the top radiator hose runs around the a/c compressor.

Yep, The 4.3 came later. The largest V6 for the S-10 line in 85' was the 2.8ltr. I inherited my grandads black 85' s-10 Blazer, and I have owned a blue 86' S-10 Blazer since high school. The 2.8 in my blue one died a few years back and I wanted to drop in a 4.3.. The mechanic that did the swap told me the 4.3 would not even bolt up without changing out the transmission/motor mounts. I found a 3.1 that worked perfect! I have never heard of an S-10 dually.. Looks like a redneck custom for sure!
