The Bridge School is a school for seriously physically disabled and challenged kids. Neil Young has 2 sons who both have severe developmental issues, and Young hosts a benefit show for the school every year. The kids get to sit up front and on stage. (That's probably why GD has toned back the instruments to acoustics.) It's a big deal to be invited to perform.
