  • Thanks! I had problems clipping the panel back on.

  • Does it play DVD disc with mp3s?

  • awesome, man, I've been looking centuries for info on how to put my disc back that the first owner had removed... Thanks a million!

  • What is the name of the Navigation software?

  • Thanks for making the video. The handbook says just go to the dealers, naturally. A great help.

  • not only for mondeo. my kuga has a same dvd navigation,

  • Brilliant - thanks for taking the trouble of posting this video. Our sat nav has been

sending us mad it seems sorted now the disc was so dirty.

  • Great info many thanks BUT; I have read the book and walked the walk but there is no way on gods earth i can work out how to use the whole sat nav ( and radio unit ) can anyone help please.

  • Great bit of info - thanks a lot for sharing!

  • @madmattie2k No probs!

  • This dude is very funny in his explanation yet still helped me out no end, google was just drawing up blanks and i really needed to find where the disc went as my customer needed to know!! thanks mate and keep up the good work, who would have thought there were 22,701 people like me!!!

  • @LTGJC Cool, glad it helped :)

  • Was that Disc Dire Straits by chance? lol.

  • @Nat5622 :D

  • No offence, but why is it that men always attack things with a screwdriver and damage stuff, before they ask for help!

  • @stparamedic86 Probably because we rarely look at instruction manuals, and just try to work it out instead. hehe!

  • Really cool of you to make the vid, I'll save it for future use. You must be kicking yourself for damaging your unit like that, I feel for you. I'm going to but a mondeo like that real soon, and its good to have tips like this on hand. Cheers

  • @merqury5 (wow! late reply, sorry!) The sat nav still works fine, but have to bring a screwdriver to flick the roller over if I ever eject the DVD. :S

  • Excellent. Thanks very much. I figured out how to get the cover off, but I didn't know about the "secret" menu. Lucky I found your video before I also poked around with a screwdriver. Cheers!

  • @C12058 Excellent! Glad it helped you out also! Matt

  • Yes, mine is the Titanium X, but Sat Nav is still an option and doesn't come as standard (except Titanium Sport I think has it as standard).

  • nice one mate, I have been looking everywhere for this info! I have a 2009 Mondeo Titaniuam X Sport and I wanted to know where the sat nav disc was, cheers.

  • Excellent, glad it helped you out! Matt

  • You got mondeo TDCI

  • Yep, it's a diesel.

  • Is the DVD like a system disk or something like that? I am surprised why they wouldn't use flash memory like an SSD.

  • The DVD contains the nav data (road data), plus, I believe you can also update the operating system with it.

This model was released in 2007, so it's development must have been in 2005/2006 may be. If redesigned, I guess a SSD card would be used.
