@poorandimmature So do the logical connection. Why I support Assad? Because the alternative is so much worse, as Libya should have proven to you by now. In an ideal world without foreign colonial interests, popular outrage of the majority would force Assad to resign, as happened in Egypt. This situation today is a Libyan one though, with guerilla tactics sponsored from abroad. The proof is in the pudding: Assad still remains, so he clearly has enough support at many levels.

Russia is, again, supporting a tyrant against his own people. Assad stands no chance in stay in power and his regime ran out of gas ( not bullets and tank shells thanks to the Russians and Iranians).
