Why not ? :) Ibanez Jem model are my favorite guitar. You do not need Ibanez JS series for playing Mr Satriani's song.

and JS series have only 22 frets.

Just bend up or something and only on the high e string do those extra frets miss out if you get me.

No, if you have a tremolo unit you can still reach them notes, it doesnt matter if you cant bend to them just set your tremolo so you can increase string tension while playing your desired note

i got a js1000, then i bought the cheap rg2ex and swapped the neck! i got the cheap one for 100 bucks! all i had to do was modify the lions claw on the rg
