  • ray, me too ...

  • I missed watching all e.r weekends

  • tv is funny thank god i dont watch it

  • I don't think Lori was at WJLA. WABC was not in HD at the time of this newscast (i think) & the 6:30 already started at PIX11 a couple weeks ago.

  • Correct me if I am wrong ,but was Lori Stokes at WJLA at one time?

  • to answer your question - Yes. I had recently seen a promo on YT from the time that she was there.

  • She was. She served as main anchor from 1992-1996.

  • @eastest566 unsure but possibly

  • I always found Steve Bartelstein to be very weird. I never respected him as an anchor, hence him sleeping on the job when he was at ABC.

  • it is pretty sad we probaly will never see steve bartelsien on tv ever again.. Maybe he will anchor the new PIX11 newscast at 6:30??!!

  • 6:30? When will that start?

  • i heard Sept.14th

  • @nubianprince6 it started in the fall of 2009

  • Were they in HD or not.

  • @ktrkhoustonfan not at the time of this broadcast but they are now

  • hey i hope this isn't to much to ask but do you have the episode when a 14 year old drowned in long beach, new york?

  • Steve Bartelstien has stepped down from his weekend anchor and sports job at WCBS TV over an argument about his pay check being mailed 3days late instead of being at the studio for pickup and a day off being denied and then being approved also over a pay raise since he was doing many diffrent jobs.. YOU ROCK STEVE AND I WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME EXACT THING!!!

  • Yes I've been well aware of this since last week...

  • @weatherpro93 he left? darn!! I use to love seeing his arguments when he was at WABC and was waiting for them to start at WCBS but sadly that'll never happen

  • please stop at 37 seconds sharp.i'm an anthropologist and social professor of human dynamics.this picture is quite an interesting study.

  • why is that? all i see are two people

  • Nice Extended theme

  • Does any body know why they went from just the 7 logo to the abc 7 logo & then went from saying "ABC 7 EYEWITNESS NEWS" Then back to just "CH.7 EYEWITNESS NEWS"

  • @weatherpro93 no idea. maybe they don't want to copy KABC since they say "ABC 7 Eyewitness News" the one wabc uses is alot like the one for KLAS which says "Channel 8 Eyewitness News" instead of "CBS 8 Eyewitness News"

  • nice titties lori, mmm good. you michele charlesworth and liz cho are so hot!

  • you are a perverted person.

  • This was quite enjoyable

  • Ever notice neither John Delgiorno nor Shannon Sohn's (both NewsCopter 7 reporters/traffic anchors) names aren't mentioned in the openings nor are they on WABC's webpage?

  • Because they work for Metro Traffic, not WABC. Notice how the others also aren't mentioned such as Heather O-Rork, I hope I spelt that correctly, lol. Debbie Duhaim, and Joe Nolan also aren't mentioned.

  • I-280 and I-80 are freeways in the San Fran Bay Area and Fairfield is a city in Solano County in California. Interesting that NYC have familiar freeways and towns that resemble the Bay

  • Debbie Duhaime and Heather O-rork are only fillins they dont actually work there and Debbie Duhaime works for Cablevision not metro-traffic

  • @Vlad788 all those people are now mentioned on WABC's Webpage

  • Shannon Sohn and Jon DelGorino are now onthe website.

  • @dft432 they're on 7online, they aren't mentioned in the titles because they work for Helicopters Incorperated. Some stations do have the chopper reporter in the talent sections like KCRA and WBBM but that's up to the station & WABC didn't want to put it in

  • This is the New York edition of "ENAN". Note that Lisa Colagrossi is filling in for Steve Bartelstein- I believe this was one of those days when he was suspended...months before he was finally fired from the station. His reputation was well known around WABC-TV- and it wasn't good.

  • Yes, he was suspended for showing up to work on Monday morning (11/5/06), 30 minutes after the 5:00AM broadcast had began. After that incident, he was given a final warning which he had not obeyed, resulting in his termination in March.

  • He was sick so Idk why u people always have bad things to say about him

  • Eyewitness News is a general news moniker for many stations in the United States. You'll also notice that Eyewitess News is usually assigned to ABC O&O's.

  • Well when I lived in the Bay area, KPIX-TV used Eyewitness News while KGO identifies itself as ABC 7 News but has elements of Eyewitness News. My local ABC affiliate and CBS affiliate KFSN-TV Fresno uses Action News and KBAK-TV Bakersfield uses Eyewitness News but KFSN like KGO uses Eyewitness News elements as well. Not to mention KGO & KFSN are the news leaders in the San Francisco and Fresno markets.

  • Accu-Weather forecast is where Family Guy got the idea for "Ollie Williams, exclusive Blacuweather forecast"

  • EYEWITNESS News is on Channel 7 in Los Angeles

  • Yes, The Eyewitness News name is carried by many other stations here in the United States. Not just WABC-TV.

  • Channel 7 KABC-TV IN LOS Angeles Does Their Midday Newscast At 11Am

KCBS CHANNEL 2 IN LOS ANGELES AND KNBC CHANNEL 4 ALSO IN LOS ANGELES And KFSN Channel 30 in Fresno And KXTV Channel 10 in Sacramento Does The Same Thing

  • Sacramento stopped using it in the mid 1980's and started using News10

  • Houston has Eyewitness News. It's on ABC 13.

  • I noticed the old KABC bumper is being used here

  • @dingding3109 no it's all WABC content. they're just similar

  • @Nicholas4141 alot of stations use Eyewitness News as their news title. like KLAS (Las Vegas) KABC (Los Angeles) KYW (Philadelphia) and KTRK (Housten) to name a few.
