  • does anyone know the name of the organ used in this song? like specifically? i cant seem to find the same tone on my keyboard

  • @hurleyskateava Probably a liver

  • Sounds just like the verses in Don't Let Me Down, by the Beatles. I keep waiting for it to drop, and it doesn't.

  • music boner.

  • actually there is a few songs that I had heard of this band, but I have to say, that it is the most sad and beatifull song in many years. Congratulations

  • I am a new fan... never had a favorite band before... too soon?

  • @Elnig4 its never too soon or too late to be addicted to these guys

  • These guy saved rock´n roll.

  • @bibi48077 this is a hipster alt band, rock does need amateur players like this. They are basment tapers not Real Deal musicans man

  • @tele757 These guys have been rocking for a long time. I think of them more as a blues rock band, and over the last many years they have finally achieved the respect and attention that they deserve. They are TRUE musicians, not amateur players in any sense.

  • @tele757 YUKFOODOOD! THIS IS GREAT MUSIC. QUIT TRYIN TO PUT IT IN A BOX!

  • similar to dont let me down by the beatles, great song

  • This is exactly how I feel.

  • Suffering in style. I almost wish for a heartache!

  • @promorodrigues no you don't ;)

  • this song reminds me pink floyd...

  • @stediu77 yeah buddy

  • @stediu77 how?

  • this song gave me the chills when i heard it....sounds perfect for whats going on in my life right now.

  • I haven't heard a song like this in a long time, one which reminds me of sorrow and regret, beauty and love, pain, hope, longing and loss.

  • I think I didnt drink eanuf... gotta go...

  • Definitely sounds like "Don't Let Me Down", but both are great songs so I'm OK with that.

  • sound kinda like Dont Let Me Down by the Beatles :o

  • I never noticed the dog in the beginning until I almost deafened myself on earphones...

  • @SebAnders ha ha I just did the same thing! There IS a dog barking at the beginning. :)

  • i love this band i wish them the best but i don't want them to go mainstream ,,,,,,when artist go mainstream they loose their essence that thing that made them and they end up being under pressure to produce and create shitty material life's a bitch

  • @aristophane32 thats balls shit!! they make the songs they want to make n if other people other than ureself like it than thats ur problem just suport the frikin band n stop moaning.... oi oi!!!

  • @aristophane32 i disagree. If they are truly wise and skillful artists, they won't falter. Whether or not they go "mainstream" isn't even something I am worried about. Ever since Brothers they have become quite known and popular and despite that, El Camino sounds fantastic! Just my 2 cents.

  • @aristophane32 They have started getting more well known, but El Camino was fantastic.

  • When I first started listening I could picture John Lennon singing this.

  • Dont Let Me Down - by The Beatles is also a very good version of this song hahhaa

  • I love this song but I think These Days is way better and it's about the same message of this song also

  • jesus i love this song!!!

  • the intro sounds like a spaghetti western theme to me

  • The album is just perfect.

  • @afalaz Completely agreeable.

  • For every emotion in your life, there is a song by The Black Keys.

  • @TrueLoveWay23 same with portugal. the man

  • @TrueLoveWay23 and plenty if you have women troubles

  • @SebAnders Word. Exactly what I was thinking.

  • Favorite Keys song.

  • Jesus sent me.

  • The year is 2011, everything has already been done, so yea it does sound similiar to other songs. Its still way better than allot of the other drivel that is out there... You could be listening to the black eyed peas LMAO

  • I could live in this vibe.

  • Pat reminds me of McLovin

  • reminds me of don't let me down

  • dont you love it when a song perfectly describes how you feel?

  • @SyNeSTro009 No. FUCK MY EMOTIONS

  • simply amazing!

  • I love this song.

  • I wish more songs would be put out like this, NOW THIS is what you call GOOD MUSIC, not some of that crap they play on the radio all the time.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can just see movie scenes going PERFECTLY with every one of The Black Keys' songs, LOVE them!

  • Breaking up with your girl and then hearing this makes me feel like I can move on but I'm so wounded right now. I just need someone to tell me its going to be.....(Holding my head down right now) :(

  • @stewartskiing It's not going to be ok.

  • @stewartskiing Get off the internet and go smoke some crack!

  • @stewartskiing it only gets worse, but then you'll find someone even better. trust me.

  • @stewartskiing dude dont take this the wrong way but take it like a man. get up clean yourself up and keep walkin and dont look back. youll be fine.

  • @stewartskiing The only thing i could really tell you man is that it takes TIME to heal wounds. Get rid and anythig that reminds you man

  • This song just made me weaker still

  • Ahhh...suddenly it's all better.

  • anyone else hear the dog barking in the very beginning, or am I going insane?

  • @Chilling10680 yeah i hear it, were both fucked...

  • This one actually wasn't written by the Black Keys. But I still think this rendtion is one of their best works ever.

  • @AlannahClaire You learn something new everyday! I had no idea. Did someone else sing this before them or did someone else write it?

  • @whitestripesnut333 It was written for them. I'm not really sure who actually wrote it though. Its on back of the CD flap.

  • @AlannahClaire I wonder if Jessica Lea mayfield wrote it. She's singing backup vocals on the song after all.

  • *awkward tear drop*

  • this song is touching.......

  • this is like the best song

  • ahh perfect suffering beer song.

  • the Black Keys + noise cancelling headphones = euphoria

  • Goddddddd. This song is so fucking epic. Like everytime he picks its sooo meaningful.. I could make / listen to this music forever.

  • Damnit Man! This is a great song.

  • my New favorite song

  • I must have played this song at least a hundred times today. It's one of those rare songs that doesn't get played out

  • "she's got the kind of love i need.... the kind that's never good on me"

  • @FedskaTheOne i dont know these guys, but i'm thinkin their goal is to change "old style rock" to "rock", not that emo shit people call rock nowadays

  • I love this song because it tells me that I had fun times and that now that they passed, its time for me to move on,that I cant hold on to the past in hopes of bringing them back,no matter how much I miss her.....

  • @DrKaiju2000 ok... great song

  • so so so so under-rated....

    what a band....

  • this song is one of those songs that you can sit down and listen to it over and over again...makes you think (and cry hehe)

  • With TBK, you get it all, their music can make you shake your ass all night, or like this wonderful song, make you wanna just lay in the dark, just magical.. i love em!

    Just play, just playing :b

  • SO RAW <3 SWEET VOICE, OLD SCHOOL BALLADS RHYTHM AWESOME, WITH A 70'S VIBE <3

  • This is one of those songs where it would be perfect as a 10 minute epic. Reminds me of a pink floyd song.

  • Sounds a little like don't let me down by the beatles.

  • i don't know about the rest of you guys but this song made me cry

  • @squirtingbuttholes3 I was just about to post "Damnit, this song just made me cry." and LMFAO@your screename, with a name like that, a song making you emotional means a lot more.

  • so i decided to check out these "Black Keys" guys because lots of people talk about them.. Now I'm addicted to them.. SHIT their too fuckin good lol

  • I've lived out every Black Keys song.. Sometimes it's awesome, sometimes it's depressing..

  • @BustedBreaks I know, i just listened to "all you ever wanted" (all happy and joyfull) and to this song (depressing and nostalgic). Still though, great band.

  • @BustedBreaks im doing horrible haha but this comment somehow made me laugh

  • @BustedBreaks an sometimes it's awesomely depressing...

  • @BustedBreaks if you've lived The Lengths or These Days then i feel sorry for you man. I have had a loved one let their life slip away to drugs and alcohol and i can barely listen to These Days...sad, sad songs. Beautiful, but sad

  • I think the fact that this song is inspired by The Beatles makes it even better :)

  • Thumbs up for the greatest break-up song.

  • Im not a priority in my relationship anymore, and i think of this song everytime im with her. I even sing it aloud when im WITH her, cus i dont give a fuck haha. Speaks to my soul in french with a deep mans voice.

  • great fucking song! thanx.!

  • is that dave grohl on the right?

  • @wildwill48 why would you ask that? is dave grohl in the black keys!? I think not haha

  • @wildwill48 i lol'd pretty hard not gonna lie

  • does anyone else hear the similarity in melody of this song compared to "Don't Let Me Down" by The Beatles?

  • @bijingog I didn't at first... but now that you mention it.. yeah...

  • @bijingog yeah! they should've titled thing song "You've Let me Down" ;)

  • @bijingog GOOD CATCH!

  • @bijingog Indeed I do great observation skills my friend

  • @bijingog amazing.....that was my first thought

  • @bijingog

If I had ever heard that song. But why would I waste time listening to a third-rate outfit like the Beatles?

  • @joshuabissey Third rate? You MUST live in la-la land....

  • @joshuabissey lol your a idiot

  • never get tired of this band or song! "AWESOME!"

  • sorry, but this is such a rip off of the beatles "dont let me down"

  • @luke5834 The chord progression is similar. Means nothing really, there are many songs that share the same progressions.

  • yuupp I heard this on Detroit 1-8-7 also..I've been killing it ever since..smooth track

  • what bastard dared to dislike this song?

  • Absolutely adore this song...and band.

  • I listen to these guys when I trek.

  • Man this song is fuckin MINT

  • I also first head this on Detroit 1-8-7. Reminds me of the Beatles "Don't Let Me Down".

  • @Seguaro Dont compare the beatles to the keys.

Fuck the beatles. Long live the blues.

  • @patrickmaffett22 I've been listening to their other songs. I was a teen in the 70's and their music sounds a lot like the old classic rock I grew up with. They are awesome. I keep listening to Attack and Release over and over.

  • @patrickmaffett22 long live the blues? yeah, i guess ur right, the beatles knew NOTHING about the blues. what a joke.

  • @Seguaro now that i think about it does. i love both songs a lot :D

  • I heard this on Detroit 1-8-7 for the first time, also. Nice.

  • was led this way after listening it on detriot 1-8-7....soothing

  • @ashwin1984 same here.

  • @ashwin1984 good episode.

  • The girl in the back ground is Jessica Lea Mayfield. Her stuff is is pretty good too!

  • me too!!!!!!!!

Those last scenes in Detroit 187 were perfect with this song! Or the song was perfect with them I don't know. All I know is: I've been rewatching the part from where the songs starts at least a 1000 times!!!!

  • I also tracked this down by the lyrics after hearing it on Detroit 187. Love the music and the lyrics.

  • @imjustsayny

god, this Intro!!!!!!!!!!! Went so well with those scenes!!!!!

  • Just heard this song on Detroit 1-8-7 and tracked it down from the lyrics.

Great brooding blues flavor with that gritty sound of a garage bank. The lyrics are awesome too, "She's got the kind of love I need, The kind that's never good on me." Right on.

  • @Dain5000 apparently, we're a lot in that situation: maybe it's going to give more audience to both: the show and the band? ;-)

  • awesome song...heard it on "DETROIT 1-8-7 2nite, had 2 look it up!

  • @ereedy51

    me too

  • @ereedy51 me 3 haha smooth track..I heard of The Black Keys but I never got around 2 listening 2 their music

  • @ereedy51 same here...

  • Love it thanks for sharing.............

  • Thumbs up if you liked them before they were on the Eclipse soundtrack!

  • i think they listened to dont let me down before writing this song

  • by far and away one of the greatest songs ever written.

the lyrics remind me a lot of my ex.

  • LOVE this song

  • anyone hear the dog bark right before the song starts? lol

  • my favorite keys songs

  • Jessica Lea Mayfield with the backing lyrics!! nice

  • '' she's got the kind of love i need, the kind that's never good on me ''

this song is just so damn good and soulful.

  • One of the best songs they've ever written I think. God damn...mmmmm.

  • @TheJohnMayor Thank god for beattles and their "don't let me down" song!!!

Still black keys have their own originality even though they show their influences and are great!

  • @TheJohnMayor Goooooddammm!!!!......makes me wanna grab my girl sooooo bad and sing this song into her ear.......soo bad!

  • I like the Black Keys, but am I the only one that notices that this song is a near carbon copy of The Beatles "Don't Let Me Down"?

  • @TylerJakesTV

Haha I didn't notice it at first but now you mention it, it really does.sound like Don't Let Me Down.

  • @TylerJakesTV i was literally going to type a comment saying just that, then i saw this one. oh well, guess im gonna have to make a mashup of the two songs.

  • @TylerJakesTV lol I always thought the same thing

  • @TylerJakesTV hahhaha i just commented that i thought they listened to dont let me down before writing it

  • I love you JACKIE!!!
