I've had my Xbox 360 for nearly 2 years and i havn't had one problem with it. All you have to do is make sure there is quiet a big gap between the back of the 360 and the wall, and also keep it flat on the bigger side so that when the discs are inserted, they are not inserted in sideways

I beat it. Search for alcan 86 or gridlock beat 50 wave alone or something like that to see it. U only need a shield to work. Whatever, well done.

wave 50 horde on insane is possible go to day one map and go to the sniper/torque bow spawn spot and wait for maulers to get there there is your shield place it backwards so drones can't kick it down and then from there its easy

They can kick the shields down, no matter how they are placed because of the last patch at 25 - 1 - 09

if you have a broken disc drive (wont read discs or takes a long time to get it working) try tilting the xbox to its left side while standing in the upright position. Just lean it against a wall or something to hold it up. It should now read the discs without a problem.

is it tilted to the left side? It also has to remain in that tilted position if it eventually does read it. just test some different positions, maybe a little more or less tilt till you get it.

k bout the scratching the disc thing. I found that it doesnt make that horrible grinding sound if you tilt the xbox when its powered off. Tilt it, turn it on, THEN put the disc in, if it still wont work take out the disc, change up the tilt angle a bit and repeat the process.
