woah,i just got my solving speed under 3 min,yet you can do 9 cubes in 3 min ! damn !,btw,i consider merfferts or any other brand other than rubik's to be a conterfeit,there just copys of the original:rubik's.

But the rubik's company is all about the money and not quality, mefferts have cheaper good quality while Rubik's doesn't give a shit about quality and has high price puzzles. If rubik's took the time to actually improve the quality then maybe, but if you want honest good cubes, use mefferts, eastsheen or diy's

Well, Erno Rubik made the 3x3x3 about the same time as someone else made the 2x2x2 and Uwe Meffert made the 4x4x4 (and possibly the 5x5x5) before rubik's did.

Uwe Meffert started making his puzzles such as the pyraminx way before Erno Rubik did, but he didn't think anyone would be interested in them before he saw the succses Rubik got with his 3x3x3

well you have to consider that the other brands may have copied the original, but in my opinion, they made it better. Take eastsheen cubes for instance, they move much better than the orginal rubicks brand and already come lubricated

Just because the brand is not rubik's does not mean it is counterfeit. The v-cubes made what was previously impossible to be possible (making larger cubes, a.k.a. 6x6 &7x7). They came up with their own design, so in no way is it counterfeit.

for my Z perm i use r2 R2' U r2 R2' U r R' U2 r2 R2' U2 r R' U2 and it is really fast i can do it in like 1.75 seconds =)
