  • Que dire , superbe, fantastique .

  • THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the electronic intro to this concert is amazing.

  • assista a banda que tom yorke adorou no brasil esta no google chama se DELICIAS MACABRAS

  • copyright infringement

  • @belissimel Um, the band I was referring to WAS Radiohead. They could only play 2 hours because it's in the middle of the city of Chicago, and they had to finish at 10. Which is why I thought it strange this video above was only 1 1/2 hours, hence my question. By the by, you aren't wrong about how awesome they are. As far as I know, the past few years Radiohead has had the longest set at Lollapalooza. And it was amazing.

  • Why they didn't play nude??

  • @TeamSoppy324 Because they're shy..

  • @TeamSoppy324 It was very cold

  • @TeamSoppy324

    LOL

  • KON BAWA

  • Best intro ever for There There

  • By far the best version of 15-Step I have ever heard

  • weres the sound man, fuck i need some speakers for my lappy!

  • I just cried... beautiful

  • what are they playing in the beginning? before 15 step, that intro music thing

  • i love the way jonny smashes his guitar..classic

  • before they do Paranoid Android, thom says "you ready?"

    i love it.

  • i would do anything jonny greenwood asks of me

  • In these pants he looks like a pimp from the seventies))

  • man I really need a radiohead concert

  • HOLLY SHIT SHUT THE FUCK UP WITH YOUR MUSE COLDPLAY AND RADIOHEAD COMPETION THERE ARE ALL EPIC AND DIFFERENT

  • Everybody type in "gift" before youtube then press enter

  • 36:55 does thom flick johnny off?

  • @mumbojumboman246 lol idk but i saw it too :P

  • wooh.

  • Thank you very much for posting this. That is all.

  • Une chanson qui vous hante, qui vous reste dans le crane XxX

  • Someone explain to me how folks compare Radiohead to any other creative team. It's like comparing Mozart to Beethoven. Impossible; both are unique & both draw from a vast reference library. Radiohead can, however, be compared to Mozart; both present an unprecedented body of work in a short period using familiar tools to invent... They swam way out of their depth to get this sound. Getting in over your head is an artists dream- instinct to survive takes you, screaming, to the surface.

  • Thom and his red pants

  • I get sick of people comparing Muse and Coldplay to these geniuses. The other two are ok, they've had their moments but they're not the innovators that Radiohead are.

  • Where was this concert held? Like what venue?

  • @Cass0emoheart Lol nevermind Saitama Arena, I see. =_=

  • Coldplay is like Radiohead Lite

  • when they started with paranoid android I just smiled :)

  • HEY HEY HEY hold on a sec

u're not austin brock wtf is going on???

  • Well Radiohead is amazing there is no contesting that, but there is no need to beat up on Coldplay. The album Viva La Vida was brilliant and they are evolving into a pretty awesome and diverse band. Give credit where credit is due. Comparing them to the gods of modern music that is Radiohead is just unfair. Radiohead has had time to experiment and branch out and quite frankly I hope Coldplay can make it to their level eventually, that means more good music for me and everyone else.

  • @namelessfire hahaha! viva la vida was their worst album by far..never met anyone that thought different. coldplay has had time to experiment and they get worse with every album!

  • @wonderandwhisper There is always time to experiment and they certainly don't get worse every album. Viva La Vida was way better than Parachutes.

  • @namelessfire ok, but they will never be on radiohead's level...they just won't. that being said, not many bands in the history of music are on the same level as radiohead.

  • @wonderandwhisper Well that goes without saying. Never said they would. I just said I'd hope they would be because that means more great music to listen to.

  • @namelessfire Coldplay aren't fit to shine these guys shoes for one, and maybe the creekboards deserve a little credit. They did create viva la vida before whatever his name is stole it. Its just the big single thats all... Me? I listen to authentic musicians like Radiohead and Frusciante.

  • @WolfmanToldmeToBilo Viva La Vida was probably the worst song on that album to be honest. And quite frankly Coldplay would probably agree with you on the "not fit to shine Radiohead's shows" statement. They look up to those guys, pretty much any British band from the late 90's to now look up to Radiohead, I know I do. I listen to authentic musicians as well, I must since I'm watching this video.

  • Definitely a motion picture expirience all it's own. Radiohead's beautiful music captures every human emotion and makes it into a living and breathing piece of art. That's what I love so much about them..

  • Long live Radiohead! Can't wait for the new album...how are they going to top In Rainbows?? We shall have to see I guess!

  • best brit bands are radiohead and gorillaz

  • @Coui0112358

    Word

  • jeeez this gye has such a good voice!

    I LOVE HIM =D

I just love british rock bands... *_* Beautiful song Radiohead =D

  • this concert proves to me that jonny greenwood is easily the most explosive guitarist ever.

  • 13 Douchebags disliked this video. They have no soul.

  • Jonny Greenwood, marry me :)

  • Amazing!

  • great

  • It is so rediculous to compare RH with Muse or Coldplay...The last two bands are just company-produced bands just to sell more...

So, stop comparing pioneer RH with crap....

    Love from Athens

  • @krank027 Pray tell what company produced the music for Muse and Coldplay..... quit talking out your ass man.

  • who was the audio engineer?

it was "nice"" but it could sound better if ..

... ya, if I had done this

  • @Anachoret The sound mix was perfect for those of us who were there. Or are you hassling the bootlegger :P

  • Thanks for putting this awesome concert up! I saw them in 2003 and would love to go again but have been too busy! :(

  • Thom Yorke is God

  • 15 step <3

  • Was this concert really only an hour and a half? That seems so short to me...at Lollapalooza they played for 2 hours! I haven't been to many concerts I guess, but how long do bands usually play??

  • @racso452 No the show was 2 hours but the video only broadcasted 90 minutes of it, sorry.

  • @racso452 When I was on a Metallica Concert it lasted 6 hours

  • @racso452 Radiohead usually plays, at least the few times I've seen them, for about 2 hours. The Who always played 3+ hours. The Grateful Dead were known to carry on as long as 4+ hours.

  • Radiohead? Muse? Coldplay? Well... I don't have problems with that. I love all of them, but a like best Radiohead. I'll be grateful all the time for having been at their performances. Radiohoead, along with U2 & My Bloody Valentine, might be as great as The beatles, The Smiths, The stone Roses, Talking Heads, Pink Floyd & The Velvet Underground.

  • Incredible show that radiohead put on here! this hows how tight they are as a band

  • Just wanted to say, anybody wandering not sure why a band needs 3 guitarists then watch this and it will become very apparent.

  • Thom's voice has changed so much since The Bends

  • Thank you. They are without peer.

  • superb jonny in 43:20

  • I love this show so much I watch over and over

  • does anyone have the updated torrent link for this? appreciated

  • ...molto simile al concerto di milano...unici...

  • amazing!!! except all i need was a disappointment, love the original.

  • @you2bepwned yeah, i think the same. they really screw the song live. i think it's the tempo

  • render rhodes is the bomb

  • the worst part is that this isnt even the full concert

  • if can upload so big videos...

why the people dont get upload movies?

  • Because live concerts are bootlegs whereas films have copyright

  • @betocracks because music is way better for the soul mate

  • @betocracks Because of legal reasons. These guys are just too cool to mind about that.

  • @betocracks copyright? -.-

  • @betocracks The real question is: Would you rather watch a movie or a Radiohead concert?

  • Thom is playing a Fender Rhodes electric piano on Everything in its RIght Place.

  • working better ... with your video

    thanks

  • does anybody know what kind of keyboard Thom is using on everything in it's right place ? Is it a mini-moog ?

    thanks

  • I'm fairly certain it's a Fender Rhodes, at least that's what he used right after Kid A came out on the BBC performance in 2001 (2002?).

  • i can recall an interview by greenwood whee he speaks greatly about miles davis....specially about the "butches brew" & "in a silent way" records....this sound is very late 60's miles in my opinion...the byrds used it too on the "notorious byrd brothers" album...very smooth....radiohead is such a great band

  • sorry...typos....i'm on a hurry :(

  • minimoogs are synths... and are not polyphonic...

he uses an electric piano, a fender rhodes... he has been seen as well with a wurlitzer ep200, is similar in many aspects but a bit more crunchy...

  • Jonny is the one making the whole thing crazy. He's got it all running into his Korg Kaoss-thingy.

  • I love Colin's addition to videotape

  • Pure music!!!!!!

  • Pure art!!!!!

  • 36:58 HAHA)

  • sick!

  • i cant think of anything better than seeing radiohead play in japan with a load of screaming japanese girls everywhere.

    the vibe would be amazing.

  • this was the last concert of the tour, thats why it is short and in a little low performance.

  • anyway to get a dvd of this??

  • yeah. it's like 45 bucks most places.

  • pretty good show overall. Def. not the best performance of idiotheque they've ever done.

  • If Jesus was a musician He would sound like Radiohead...

  • No, he wouldn't.

  • -_-?

  • Let's not forget that Jesus is the head of a religion here. I'm pretty sure the band are all atheists, for one, and they play a lot of rather ungodly music.

  • So what... i'm complementing them. I'm sure they wouldnt mind.

  • plus radiohead actually exist?

  • no....

  • thom york is the head of my religion: radioheadity

  • please don't try for a smart comment if it means using Jesus as your stepping stone. -_-

  • wow...................i just need to sit in my chair and stair at the seiling (i cant spell) for 2hours and just take all that in

  • I will se Radiohead play next 23/08 in Prague. I'm from Italy! It will be my first Radiohead concert!

  • Oh god and the "AGH" during Just is orgasmic. Right about 8:20.

  • Holy shit. This is the whole show. My prayers have been answered.

  • Rofl @ the Flip off at 36:55

  • haha what the hell

  • winner

  • whener

  • Great show really... I wish at some point of my life I'll manage to be at a Radiohead concert, one of my greatest dreams. They create hell of an atmosphere there :)

Only thing that dissapointed me was the "bassy" version of Jigsaw Falling into Place...I just love that smooth voice of Thom in the beggining and here it sounded like his voice wore out or something...

  • if you want to see radiohead live, you will do it. believe!

  • how i wish i was japanese.

  • Why must everybody insist on having "which band is better" battles on youtube videos? Radiohead and Coldplay are both amazing bands. And they are nowhere near similar in their sound. Radiohead are way more experimental and electronic. For a popular band especially, Coldplay is good. And Muse is also awesome, but they don't sound like either of the bands either. They have a way heavier overall sound to them. Take The Gloaming, Stockholm Syndrome, and Viva La Vida. Do you hear any similarity?

  • Breakin it down!!! hell yea

  • Be real. I'm not Muses biggest fan, but even I can see they are light years ahead of Coldplay.

    Coldplay are very very average.

  • sometimes, in all this complexity in life that we deal with, the average and simple things can be very beautiful

  • Comment removed

  • I would concur that Coldplay has the more average sound of the three, but even so they write great music. It's good popular bands like Coldplay that get people branching out and listening to bands like Radiohead and Muse. I personally like Radiohead and Muse songs more, but that doesn't mean you can discredit the great work that Coldplay does. In any case, I merely find it useless to compare good bands that really don't have much in common when you get down to it.

  • @ronkbusta43 to compare coldplay to radiohead and muse is like comparing apples and oranges... both are fruits and both have their separate tastes. i for one wil always love the apples (radiohead & muse) more. but i like all fruit lol lol.

  • @ronkbusta43 I agree. I'd like to quote what Chris Martin ( coldplay's singer ) said about Radiohead: "I would still give my left ball to write anything as good as (beloved Radiohead album) OK Computer." That says all.

  • @ronkbusta43 Sorry Radiohead are miles ahead in my opinion, I have no time for Muse or Coldplay, the are mediocre at best, each to their own though but this concert proves how together they are, its really quite something!

  • @ronkbusta43 Precisely, Coldplay is the average, gateway band to Muse, the over-the-top band, and to Radiohead, the more pensive, multifaceted band. I used to love Muse, but now they take second shift to Radiohead. Not to say Muse is bad, but I like how Radiohead expands into different areas while Muse has always stayed with high-energy chords, more esoteric, romantic lyrics, and electropop influences.

  • @Shadow9392 Matt Bellamy has said that Muse fans shouldn't expect another bombastic, esoteric, out-of-this-world album on their next project. The band wants to do a more low-key, introspective album. This is why I love both Radiohead and Muse: both are always expanding their styles, pushing boundaries, exploring different genres, reinventing what it means to be a "rock" band.

  • @LeonardandStuff they know this, its why they blatantly steal music from their opening acts.

  • i cannot believe they went all the way to japan but skipped australia. great concert

  • D strings a bit out of tune in body snatchers, really annoying, other than that, brilliant all the way through.

I know I'm being padantic, but with Radiohead you have to be ;)

  • OMG :O Never heard such a good version of Everything in it's right place... I smiled in front of my computer when it started :D

  • I almost cry everytime I realise I wasn't there... Joke. Really, I missed there show in Montreal last year... Next time they come in Quebec province, anywhere in Quebec province, I'm going and see them! I never saw them yet. :'(

(Sorry for my bad english, I'm.. heu.. Quebecer? Lol don't know how to say it.)

  • Seeing Radiohead live is on my bucket list. Too bad they never come to Detroit...

  • Radiohead > Maths lessons

  • @rem0il

Radiohead > studying for math exam

  • coldplay wouldnt be where they are now without Radiohead

  • coldplay = evolution of plagiarist

  • The Gloaming is the best piece of sound or music or whatever that i have ever heard. This version ESPECIALLY.

  • gloaming is soooo much better live.

  • I couldn't live without Radiohead... I can't describe how good they are...

  • At live performances like Jean-Drapeau, radiohead puts a techno/minimalist beat before their intro. I think they just want to make wait people with it or show something classic that can be change easily with their twist. Really don't know the reason.

  • es la mejor banda en vivo actualmente

    gracias por el video!

  • At first : Sorry for my bad english. I´m a german boy. That´s a great concert. "Weird fishes" is very beautiful. I think Radiohead is one of the creatist bands all over the world.

  • the swung feel in 15 step is so awesome

  • <3 <3

  • jonny as epic as always

  • Im old School. I remember when Creep out. I was about 13. Even at such a young age I was enchanted by their sound. Thats when Nirvana, Pearl Jam and STone Temple Pilots had the floor. Radiohead didnt have the clout that they had at the time being. Well... Pearl Jam is still around but Radiohead created a genre. The Radiohead Genre. No one sounds like them and if so its because they hacked Radiohead. Radiohead Pioneered a sound that too few artist even know what that means anymore.

  • where can i download this from? it's an excellent concert...

  • wow i gotta see them next time their in cali!!!!

  • gloaming is a stagger.. just to intense for words

  • coldplay is not a ripoff of radiohead. both bands are too different to say that. The only possible album you can compare would be parachutes. Otherwise they have diffeent styles. Radiohead obviously is a huge influence on coldplay. Both bands are great, lets enjoy them both! and what a concert! great setlist

  • This is a Japanese performance, interacting with the audience might be a challenge for them. Putting on a great show is all they have to do.

Basically, they both have different styles, people are going to prefer one over another, but they are both great at what they do.
