cool please answer this. I really want to be in the ARMY when i after high school in not sure if I want to do national guard or active army im kinda out of shape and eat bad stuff sometimes. Im chubby so how can I get myself into shape? it has been my dream so please tell me the right foods, excises and dont say running, pushs ups that doesnt tell me anything how many miles in a certain amount of time how many push ups sit ups.... stuff like that i need to loose some weight before basic

cut what you eat in half. Eat a tone of vegetables and fuirt but also eat a decent amounts of meat. Exercise more and eating less is garunteed to help you lose weight. Its truly all in your head. If your determined to get in shape you can do it. Its all self discipline.

Theres really no way to put a number on it but it takes time its not easy man. Its harder to stay in shape than it is to get there but you need to jog start little and build up. push ups, crunches, pull ups. Join an athletic team. Do things besides sitting around ya know i lost 60 pounds in 6 months, and i get compliments everyday, totally worth it for your health and self esteem. as far as military goes noone is every in shape enough for the military until you get done with training(nvr ends)

But anyway, eat small portion's throughout the day like a bowl of cereal in the morning, a banana inbetween breakfast and lunch, a tuna sandwhich for lunch, a yogurt in between lunch and dinner, and after dinner eat a handful of chips, you want to eat more carbahydrate's, and more proteing, and Vitamins try and keep a ballance, fast food is horrible for your health, im 19 and weigh 175 im 6'1 and im within what is considered to be healthy

i joined active the active army and i ship out monday, anybody goin to meps be prepared to hurry up and wait, and make sure to not lose anything the sac. ca. meps lost my birth cert. ssn and medical records so i had to go to meps a total of 6 times to get everything straightened out. good luck!!!

it depends on how long your ship out date to basic is. that is if nothing happens to you between that time

depending on rank E3 is approx 250 for a 2 day drill.

Umm depending on the scenario usually the pay increases, did you got to MEPS yet (Military Entrance Processing Station)? if you did you should be getting your Armed Forces Bank account information in the mail, your logon is usaully the bank account number and the password is the last 4 digits of your social security number

Depends, some guys are hooah hooah and want to be all basic prep, some are laxed and realize the most on average rsps you attend before basic is like 3, and want to cram you with knowledge on things quickly and effectively.

They do get ACU's...they didnt get them for a while here at our RSP because there was changes in the logistics here...but they are getting them now.

Thats Fort Benning isnt it? I just got back from there for BCT saturday Aug 23nd 08, and now i have a year of Green Phase at my RSP and a year of high school left, then i go back to Benning for my Infantry AIT, it is some fun stuff sure its a pain in the balls but when its all siad and done its the best thing in the world, I'm PA national guard, awesome video Sergant.
