  • Good man, a gentlemen.. RIP Rocky.. We remember you forever.

  • God bless you Rocky RIP.

  • 49-0 43KO NEVER BEATEN.

  • RIP, only 45 years old, died too soon.....

  • nothing could hurt the rock :) he fought every single guy they put in front of him...beat some of the best too, boxing aint the same without you man :)

  • the fight with ali was a computer generated fight.. a computer thats made like in the 70s cant be any good anyways even calculators have higher proc power then those supercomputers those days had.

still yea this guy belongs to one of the greats and is by far the greatest white boxer we ever had.

  • what can i say, a true pure fighter always exchanging blows always coming after his opponent. fighting on pure instinct.

  • Those pics were great....A-lot of them I had never seen before.

  • yall dont know wat the fuck yall talkin about study ur fuckin boxin history rocky marciano was the best heavy wheight boxer who ever stepped in the ring cus may i remind yall in 1969 he knocked out muhamad ali and in 1964 or 65 he knocked out joe louis this man is a beast and while on the subject dont be judgeing his fightin skills in the ring cus half of u ppl talkin prolly never even wore a pair of gloves so jus shut the hell up please

  • Your intelligent.

  • ageed man i know my boxing and by the sound of it you know you're stuff too.

I hate people saying shit they havn't got no idea about.

  • altho i don't know what you're on about with ali fighting rocky cos they've never met in the ring.

  • He never knocked out Ali .. they NEVER fought..

  • they had the computer fight

  • Man what kind of bullshit are you spreading on youtube? If you don't know shit about boxing shut the fuck up. Marciano never fought Ali. Marciano was great, Ali was the greatest and no boxing expert questions that.

  • Rocky was a tough guy and a good fighter. He deserves respect for what he accoplished. I would never call him the greatest heavyweight but he is probably in the top 10.

  • the Rock was a toe to toe brawler...he took hits and got hurt...but he rose to the match ...and came back fighting...he never gave up...he had strength...and pain tolerance

  • Hhahahahahahahaha !!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY GOD !!! I cant belive that i read this,... jesus crist...

  • hendrix1 is obviously a hater of rocky marciano, and im thinkin a bit of a races........

  • hendrix1,,your top five should include a prime liston and if joe louis is number two, rocky should be there,,after all he beat a 37yr old louis who had won 43 of his previous 44 bouts,,,and by the way in 1964 an aging liston kicked the crap out of young george foreman in a sparring session,,foreman was dropped,,i know its sparring but,,,,

  • Best fighter of all time bar none.

  • The greatest 5 heavyweights of all time in order.

    (1) ROCKY MARCIANO

    (2) MUHAMMAD ALI

    (3) JOE LOUIS

    (4) GEORGE FOREMAN

    (5) JACK DEMPSEY

Unlike any of the other heavyweights Rocky was a fight to the death warrior because thats what winning meant to him and he would rather have died in the ring losing than have lost and lived knowing that he wasn't the best.

You can not say that about anyone else and there will never be a fighter with as much heart and determination to win as what he had.

  • i agree

  • George may have hit "harder" than the rock, but not as devastating. He didn't do major physical damage to fighters like Rocky did to so many. I think Rocky hit harder, or harder in a different way. The only reason Rock retired with just six title defenses was that his back was going out on him.

  • I agree, Rock hit harder than GF. Clancy described GF as a clubbing puncher, saying that he didn't have one-punch zing, but that he would hurt you and finish you(Frazier). The Rock had incredible grounding, and threw them so hard that, if he missed, he would have to collect himself...much like a fastball pitcher. His technique generated incredible inertia...and the end result equaled one-punch KO power. He threw them w/the expectation that they would land, and when they did, lights out(Walcott)!

  • It wasn't that he had bad balance, as others have said. He simply did not care about what he looked like if he missed, and had no fear of being countered. He was a fighter that-if need be- would take 3 punches to get one of his own in, knowing that if he got his in,the other guy would eventually fall. Sheer determination, confidence, guts, stamina, granite jaw,one punch KO power, and an indomitable will to win. How do you beat Rocky Marciano?

  • totally agree with you , that would be my top 5 also. 3 most important assetts to a fighter are chin, punch and stamina (and of course heart). rocky was the only one who rated a 10 in all 3 categories.

  • i agree...rocky was a toe to toe brawler

  • italian power :)

  • Rocky had a fighting heart. He was knocked down but stood up again & fought till he won.He had not only great knock out power but also had iron chin with great fighting heart. He has been my hero since before I started my boxing & other martial arts.

  • marciano was and is my idol at a very young age i saw a picture of him in a magazine pownding lastarza on the ropes. i asked my dad who is this guy. and my dad told me all about the great rocky marciano. i was so proud that he was italian american just like me .that one little picture made me take stock in myself and to take pride in my body and start working out and live a clean life .

  • i hate how alot of people reckon marciano was overated... that pisses me off. the man fought everyone they put in front of him and won.give the man the respect he deserves

  • @pugile80 thanks for your insight.. stevie sweet..aka rocks grandson..never count the champ out..

  • the strongest punch he had and cast iron jaw

  • Marciano was the greatest because of his indomitable spirit and most powerful punches. He usually didin't even get warmed up until the fourth round, and then he became stronger with each round. He was cagey, had a chin of steel and was mysteriously hard to hit.

  • the greatsest of all time,,, the real italian stallion...

  • nice video.....pics I have never seen before.

  • This had some rare pics i havent seen yet great marciano tributes you post .

  • ROB: thanks for great video:)
