There are things even more painful.

If anyone else where able to do this they would have eternal life because the place themselves on the same level as God. I mean no offense, but personally I think this is a ridiculous question. I believe this question came up on a Stickam board, perhaps Debate Faith. IMHO, some do not have much respect for other paradigms of knowing other than the one which is most popular currently,... today, science perhaps. Philosophy of science has it's own foundational insecurities, as does any paradigm of knowing, just as religion and magic do too. I'm not a logical positivist, I don't have the answer to every question.
