Amazon is lying, then. It's 60 interlaced fields per second. Each field is a set of 540 lines. Each frame is two of these sets coming together to make a resolution of 1080, but the two sets don't phase at the same time. It's interlaced, not progressive. If you render your video in progressive, you'll get interlacing artifacts.

FYI, The camera only records in 1080i, not 1080p.
UXP does not mean 1080p, wherever you got that idea.
