Don't forget the "Eileeeeeeeeeennnnn!" in that one ending where she dies but the apartment is cleansed. It made me think of Darth Vader's "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

i guess this whole emotionless behavior of silent hill main characters is bcause YOU are the one having the emotions..the developers said s th about that if i remember right..maybe they didnt want characters showing too many emotions bcause that would easily influence you to feel the same..otherwise sometimes it makes teh atmosphere a lil bit down if the char is too kool..btw the prison is my favorite in sh4..the game itself isnt THAT scary but it became kinda creepy with the background story^^

Well, that doesn't really make sense. If the character doesn't emote, and then I have to emote for them, I tend to take the game less seriously if they behave in a unrealistic manner. Henry's timid "Are you ok?" to a bloody and obviously dying Cynthia took me out of it and made me respond to the dialog in the game in a mocking, cynical manner. I felt like Tom Servo I was making fun of the cutscenes so much.

Ok, but strange circumstances make for strange bedfellows. I'm sure no one but the coldest, baddest motherfucker could walk away from a death of someone you just met without a little emotion. I didn't say Henry should cry and carry on from her death, but a little emoting would be nice if the scene is supposed to be tragic. I hate having to act for the characters I'm watching.

its not called silent hill but it is the same. there are like 4 people living in it, its off any map and there are underground coal mine fires that have been burning for 40 years. its in pennsylvania i believe.

Yeah Its Called Centrailia only 11 people live there icluding the 89 year old mayor who refuses to leave. Yes coal mines are still burning and there's enough coal there to make the fire go on and on for more than 100 years. This place inspired the location of Silent Hill in the movie. Search on Google Cantralia there's a website about it with pictures and some videos about it if you want to know more.
