hello ! i like this project and i wanna build two for my first robot but i dont know wher to put these two LDRs in the schematic can you tell where? thank you!
@IcechickenSr you are right, like it says in the description they are ldrs. I have used this for example to keep solar cells pointed at the sun and for two wheel self-balancing bot.
Please excuse me newness to this hobby, but what in the hell are you using to controll this beauty with? it looks like some kind of cool tilt sensor switch. almost like an Iphone switch or something. So is it sort of like that or is it that what appears to be LDR's on each side are just picking up more light as they are tilted to the celing where the light source is? I must try this, cheers, IC.
I understand the circuit on the right very clearly however im not to sure what the circuit on the left is? I presume that the device your tilting left and right are the LDR's =)
If your looking for high torque cheap servos just buy those scrubbing bubbles automatic sprayers the servo in them is waterproof and very powerful!

Hello, I'm looking into building a model rocket with its ailerons controlled by a timed servo, and I can't figure out how to build the circuitry.

is this how a Wii controller works LOL

@mutanTV131 No! This work with photoresistors!

@idiotAREstupid im just guessing, you didn't have to be mean. A tree got burn't down

@mutanTV131 I'm not mean, that's just... urm... IDK what it is but it's not mean

replace the LDRs with a gyroscope and thats your segway right there ;)

You can use this as a gyro.

thank you for the schematic, it's one of very few that actually work

what are you tilting?

what kind of servo is this?
I though servos only turned 180 º
but this one turns more

@IcechickenSr "Iphone switch" you must be kidding. Not everything has to do something with iphone.

how do you get the servo to spin more than 360 degrees? with the LM 555 ?
what about if i want the servo to rotate constantly ...how'd you do that :-) ?
tstorm881989 2 years ago
For example in this demo i can keep the servo rotating as long as i want. It's modified to rotate unlimitedly.
Antipico 2 years ago
@Antipico unlimitedly is not a word. if you want to rotate constantly just use a normal motor not a servo.

Pretty cool..

ah i've visited already other youtubers who show exactly how to hack a servo :p
thanks anw

I thought the schematic was somewhat clear. Do you understand the meaning of each symbol?
Antipico 2 years ago
There is no LDR on your schematic :)

It can be replaced with anything from potentiometer to oscillating circuit. This is just a simple demo for testing and show.

Could you perhaps label the components in the schematics? its so close together I can't see what is what and what value.
I'm desperate to make this!
