Absolutely fascinating documentary, strange to think how it all comes full circle given that the 'donated hair' is then exported to amongst others, the very same country from where it came from in the first place. Fascinating stuff and very well made, thankyou. :)
I watched this documentary last night on TV. My roommate had to convince me to watch it; I didn't see how hair in India could be a very exciting subject.
I was mistaken - this is easily one of the best documentaries I've seen in a long time. It is truly eye-opening.
this is really sad! superficial hollywood celebrities are getting hair extentions from poor people who are sacrifacing thier hair for God...none of them even know where thier hair is going!!
vamops a verlo ...lo que me talvez me preocupa es que sea una visión europea mirando con ojos de pobrecito a fenómenos del tercer mundo, pero vamos a verlo.
@bbfilmproduction For sure, I'm seeing it this Saturday in Santiago de Chile. I'll give you my comments afterwards; I very much look forward to seeing it!
@TheFijiWiji ur calling me jackass??,,evr herd of the movie "good hair" by some black dude, try goin on a wig shop, and lets see whose the predominant race there/?
stop saying that black people should treat indian people better!!! those people are not forced to have their hair cut !!, they choose to offer their hair or they sell it
@LaParisBonet ofcourse!,, but the main people that weave is sold is for black people...(tyra and oprah stated that black girls consume more than any other race)
