  • After spending the better part of my career aboard a carrier, I can tell you why the Navy was so harsh. At the speed the aircraft were traveling, an alteration of less than 3 degrees could have put one or both aircraft in the stands, or into one of the many tall buildings proximate to Ga, Tech. One tiny mistake and literally hundreds of people could be dead, and there would be no chance to react. kudos to the Navy for their response. I would have done no different.

  • @americanson099 Dude they are pros! Ain't know one dying, these dudes are experts that fly 30 million dollar jets......................ahhhhh the military trusts them you idiot!

  • Its not your flying Maverick, its your attitude... your dangerous and reckless... and thats the Navy's view completey on this... We lost one of our best pilots in our squadron in the marines corps over foolish airshow conduct...The Marines are just as serious about it...

  • These pilots were actually flying too low. They were relieved and grounded

permanently. They will never fly again. Too harsh if you ask me. These

were good pilots allot of training money down the drain

  • They both were grounded and lost their wings as a result of this.... all the years of hard work ....The Navy had no sense of humor over this at all.

  • Yeah. That would have been pretty funny if they had crashed into the Westin hotel. Har har har

  • Wow, that's pretty low over downtown Atlanta. Surprised they got the clearance, but looks awesome!

  • I took a video and lots of photos of this.

    Will post them soon.

  • Awesome!

    Go Jackets!
