So, I really appreciate portrayals of strong women who kick ass, but it would be nice if film makers would realize that strong women are sexy in and of themselves. You don't have to make them into a caricature out of a male fantasy. I don't necessarily have a problem with the over-the-top cartoon outfits, that's fine for a given context, but all the shots lingering on their breasts and panties? Not necessary, and it feeds into sexist stereotypes.

It's not a pleonasm...having more muscle mass doesn't necessarily mean you're stronger...it just means that your muscle is bigger. Bigger muscles means nothing, strenght comes from how much tension you can put in that muscles. Proportionally, I can put more tension in my muscle than my boyfriend. However, since his muscles are bigger, he doesn't need to put the same tension as I do, to get the same strenght. If my muscles would magically be his size, I would be stronger.
That's what I meant when I said you were stupid. You don't even know strenght come from muscles tension rather than the size. The only difference between a small and a big muscle is that if both train equally, the big one will be stronger since the tension limit is higher.

I have never taken martial arts because I am lazy by nature. But I did enroll my daughter in classes about 20 years ago when she was just a young teen to help with confidence, self esteem, and self defense of course. Now she is a full time instructor teaching kung fu classes. I highly recommend it for all females.
the girls look great doing their forms, katas or what not but when it comes to down to fight sequences they look like a fish out of water. The movements are not fluid and every action seems very unnatural. Its great what the girls did :) but it can be improved 10 fold if they became more natural to actual fight movements. Don't be afraid to hurt each other. Even the pro's mess up and hurt each other all the time.
O.. M.. G... Seriously, the gymnast was pretty good, but she didnt fight anything. Some of you are not good fighters at all, & some yes well you should have shot a soft porn trailer or something like that.. Strong, intelligent women are most attractive and can be formidable fighters. Arguing over the outcome of a male vs. female fight is moot. Let's face it, even the human body must give way to physics. Pit a man and woman of equal fighting skill against one another and the man will likely win every time. It's impossible for a 110 lb. woman to strike with the force a 180-200 lb. man. And to those that think a kick in the groin will finish it, you've clearly never been in real hand to hand combat.
It is true that men have stronger muscles. But please consider that we have a seriously weak point. Once you're punched or kicked there, all your muscles would never work! XD
very funny. i like it. :) i know few really talented girl from our gym who could be hard opponents for a male. But these movements will never work in a real fight. No enough speed and power and they take too much time. Opponents are static and unanimated. I'm not sure in that... I mean skinny legs, fragile and unhardened-looking shinbones combined with using of roundhouse kicks... too wide punches... sometimes unstable stances and suchathings ;). Otherwise; nice job.;). Men are not stronger than women. Big does not equal strong. Women have a lower center of gravity, greater skeletal range of motion (which facilitates targeting as well as getting out of the way of blows and recovery), and genetically higher threshold for pain and endurance. With training, a woman can always take a man down, even if he's 3 times her size, not with kicks like in a movie, but with targeted strikes, staying low, outlasting early blows. It's never size, it's skill and mindset.
@alioxinfree Have you ever fought , or even been in a professional gym ? I doubt it , or maybe you have'nt come across a 110 - 130lb male fighter with his testosterone levels on high. Helloooo, testosterone !! Your Elementary Biology teacher would tend to disagree. Male Triathletes are a good example of strength, endurance, mindset. Skill levels depends on multible variables. Strong, intelligent women are most attractive and can be formidable fighters. Arguing over the outcome of a male vs. female fight is moot. Let's face it, even the human body must give way to physics. Pit a man and woman of equal fighting skill against one another and the man will likely win every time. It's impossible for a 110 lb. woman to strike with the force a 180-200 lb. man. And to those that think a kick in the groin will finish it, you've clearly never been in real hand to hand combat.

very funny. i like it. :) i know few really talented girl from our gym who could be hard opponents for a male. But these movements will never work in a real fight. No enough speed and power and they take too much time. Opponents are static and unanimated. I'm not sure in that... I mean skinny legs, fragile and unhardened-looking shinbones combined with using of roundhouse kicks... too wide punches... sometimes unstable stances and suchathings ;). Otherwise; nice job.;).
