All public servants are just that.Servants by choice.
We need to get good service from them once again, they have been running around like little kids thinking they can do what they want for quite a while now.
We are the Masters, lets not forget that we pay for everything they need, all their equipment, their clothes, their uniforms, their travel, their accommodation, their food, their entertainment, their pensions...the list goes on and on...
For those who may have been conditioned to think otherwise, the police constables, traffic wardens, councilors, road sweepers, bin collectors, members of the justice departments, members of parliament as well as the PM are ALL public servants.
They are servants, they volunteer to serve the community in some role and we the public pay their wages for their efforts. So we need good service from these servants as their Masters.
From the sound of his voice I'd say he was a typical 'chip-on-shoulder' guy of a certain type who likes winding officials up when he knows there's little they can do about it. He cannot even speak English with clarity so how does he expect the officers to understand him? He's really just a nobody whose sad little life makes him behave like a naughty child.
You need to learn some manners fella. You ask an unintelligent question too which makes no constructive sense. I have had some basic training in law and I can assure you that even lawyers need to refer to law books from time to time. I'm quite satisfied that the vast majority of police would recognise a criminal offence happening in front of them. Whether that offence was Common Law or a Statute Law is probably irrelevant to the officer.
This police officer was polite and professional despite being rudely interrogated by a puerile questioner whose only goal was to cause ill-placed embarrassment. For the record, all Acts of Parliament create laws, so the suggestion that the two concepts are separate is totally incorrect. Although there are other sources of law, our legislature creates the most.
Cops act this way everytime. Even here in Canada doesn't matter where you are ( on common wealth land) law is the law is the law. You cannot harm damage steal or lie. Only ways to break the law.
I'm all for common law and lawfull rebelion but I think you could have been a little more polite, you may of got your answers then. The police are human beings too.
FAIL...you asked for the difference between an 'act & a law' and then a 'statute & a law'. They are duff questions. Both are PART of the law. Surely you meant the difference between an act a statute? And even if you had got the question right, why ask a cop? All he needs to know is whether or not someone assaults someone or steals from someone etc. He doesn't NEED to know the intricacies of the legal system. And as for HAVING to answer your questions?...Use your freedom to do something useful!!
@northerntrumpeter Correct. Statute/acts are laws. Common law is also law. The origin of a law is irrelevant to whether or not it can be legally enforced, so long as they both have the approval of the Queen, i.e. passed through the Queen's office as statutes always are, or approved by the a Judge on behalf of the Crown by way of case law/precedent.
the way i see this going is a load of little chavs are going to start getting in on this and all hell is going to break loose ,,i think Pandora's box has been opened ,,and i see a few snatch squads making visits in dark cars in the middle of the night ,,common law was deigned for us all to live peacefully ,,remember this is not a war of attrition
@cheshirecat565 you can learn all this in 2 minutes ,,if you do it will give a bit of power ,,with power comes responsibility ,,don't try making a fool out of someone just kicks cause then your just as bad as the arseholes that have been doing it to us
My mates from Derby, he said all people from nottingham are knobbers. I didn't agree with his views but after seeing this twat and his shit videos harrassing police and pcso's i'm kinda getting close to agreeing with him. Sorry nottingham but this blokes a prize prick!
Who cares if police know the difference between the two. Police know when a crime is being commited and report the crime to the crown. It is them that need to know the difference. Now get a bloody life the whole lot of you. It would be a different story if you required the police yourself. hmmm I wonder if you called 999 for police and whilst they investigated the person that just robbed you etc would you ask them that stupid question? I doubt it!!
It's hardly exposing corruption within the police force is it mate. There's a million and one things they have to remember to carry out their job correctly. On this occasion he didn't want to quote something he wasn't too sure about incase he got it wrong. They're not robots.
You are only distracting them from helping people who don't have access to the public library, internet or who are just wanting to get a real issue resolved.
Ah the police do a good job with what they have. It's the goverment and the people above them who are fucked up. At the end of the day they do the best they can to put food on the table for their families, like we all should do.
public service!!! i doubt very much you pay tax to pay towards those police officers. In fact im sure your the type of person that will bad mouth the police to the cows come home, but when you're being HARASSED by others say your the first person demanding police attendance, your pathetic man.
@Mezzer1979 your just another in a long line of assuming sheeple .... I have a job, unfortunately. LoL the police wouldnt help me if i did call them, stop being so blind to the fact that they are revenue agents trained to get your information so you unwillingly contract and consent to stand under the statute. NO CONSENT = NO CONTRACT !!!
The kid who filmed that seems like a bit of a nob. I wouldn't have wasted my time with him either.
If he was being genuine and polite I'm sure they would have gone through it with him, he just comes off as arrogant and trying to wind them up. You're not going to get a warm response from anyone if you start demanding things.
i didnt mean to be dredd, but you should tell your friend he would get alot further if he didnt act like such a bully, if he learnt some common decency and manners himself, maybe then maybe he might get some of these coppers to understand what he is on about... Unless he is only interested in givin it the biggun ?
what an idiot. if u want to find out about the rules of this country thn do your own research an put your time into learning about it instead of wasting police time and stopping them frrom doing there job. grow up u sad little boy.
Why dont you consider being a public servant? You know, one of these pesky nasty types who risk their lifes, arrest armed blaggards with only a stick? The buggers! What about those other public servants who run into blazing houses, eh? Damn those corporate officers...or what ever other so called freeman cult rubbish you want to sprout off about..
He's actually NOT obliged to answer your question. Maybe you should get a job then you won't have either the time or inclination to wander around harrassing those who have a job.
I like your video's mate and we obv need people like you to ask such questions, because they do harras the innocent members of the public who speak out most of the time, as they would be an easier target. However, tell your mate to stop repeating thegod damn questions after they'vee answered it already Lol.
These 2 are actually proper police officers not pcso'. Who failed to differentiate between statute and law which equals gross neglegance which equals fraud !
@KainGreenman amazing you joined youtube today im looking at it now its clear you are one of these pcso's lol im loving it get some of the other pcso's to join you lol :)
@gotknowledge1 - Hey man,..I am loving ya vids!!,...Keep it up matey, and dont listen to these right wing idiots on here that are trying to give you shit for what you are doing.
There are some very ignorant people on here making comments to you. This is an issue, and Nottinghamshire police particularly are noted for being one of the worst in the country for protecting the public.
They would rather be as you say, robbing the public by using cowboys like the CPO's
@JB000001 "The legal system is not the law it needs your consent" - The term 'consent' refers to our (the public) ability to choose who leads us by way of an election. You have clearly misinterpreted the definition of the English legal system to the extreme. It is not an issue of explicit consent as you suggest. An individual cannot remove his consent to being policed according to the law, whether it be Common law or statute, it makes no difference whatsoever. Consider yourself re-educated.

@Kain A Statute is legislation given the force of law by the Parliament with the consent of the governed. It is not law and never will be law unless you are residing on a vessel that floats on water. My feet are firmly planted on the ground. How about you?
@KainGreenman Are statutes not only given the power of law by the consent of those governed (consent given by presenting a legal fiction for the statute to act upon) which would form a contract and then come under common law? My understanding was that statute law was based on top of common law.
@KainGreenman As common law is the fundamental law system and one of its main principles is the "rule of law", meaning nobody is above the law including any king queen or government, then no king queen or government can make law, only statutes and acts which are created in parliament in the form of legislation.
@KainGreenman From what i understand common law is based on our "god given rights", the right to do as we please to the point we impair anothers rights, if we don't cause harm injury or loss, or fraud in our contracts then we wont break common law. From what i have read common law uses precedent under the principle that everyone should be treated equally but it is not bound by precedent, when good reason is shown the courts can reinterpret and revise the law.
@KainGreenman You was bullied at school, that my friend is very clear....don't bother replying as I don't listen to unjustified scum :) p.s that goes for anyone commenting bcoz it ain't even my account, it's my friends and tbh my friend don't deserve that shit.

markus1990 2 years ago 4
@markus1990 Now that's just a bit silly isn't it, as statute is law.
I think you mean Common law and statute law.
Common law comes from the judiciary, and is subject to the rules of judicial precedent.
Statute law is created by Parliament in the form of legislation.
Now, what else would you like to learn?
How to live in a society without being ruled by it....
