Should women usurp the authority of men, let alone teach. This verse has always bothered me. It has nothing to do with sexism and everything to do with Gods Word! I believe it applies today as it did then!

I do study the Bible and I us the Ungers's dictionary becuz there is a man who believes Paul is a false prophet. And for about a month or two we where writing each other's views on the subject. And in Luke 21;37-38 During the day, Jesus taught the ppl in theTemple, (same Temple that Anna was in). Every morning all the ppl got up erly to go to the Temple to listen to Him. The court that she sat in was named after her The courts of Deborah. All of this is found in Judges 4:5- and in chapter 2 of that book, God is said to of raised up Judges for that day. If you are going to read your Bibles people, read it right. When Paul said what he said about women in the church, he was talking to the corinthian church because women were acting out of order AT THAT TIME. If God will use a donkey to speak to Balaam [Num. 22:28], then what makes society think he will not use a woman to preach the gospel? And if God's anointing isn't behind Women Preachers, then what is because many people are getting saved at these "Women Churches!"

My sister here please get into the divine will of God and not the permissive will. When one is in the permissive will of God they get confused and in danger with the Lord! When you are in the divine will of God you line up to what the Word says. First, prophesying is not preaching. In the last days men and women will prophesy, but everyone will not preach. Preaching is a calling and prophesying is a Gift. Many people get calling and gifts mixed up. Thats why need preacher. LOL!!

Remember this brothers and sisters: Women that want to be preachers have usually:
1. Been abused (by a man or woman)
2. Had or have marraige and diviorce issues in their life.
3. Had Bad teaching that is not according to the Word (Acts 2:42)
4. And finally are not saved according to ACT 2:38 and walking in the Divine Will of God. God Bless!

Women are called to preach the gospel...Mat 28:19
They are not called to teach men or have authority over men in church. 2 Tim2:12-15
They ARE called to teach other women and children 1 Tim 5. (something they have grace from God to do.)
Women have the chance to impact society for Christ "from the bottom up."
But Satan has tempted women with the very thing God has prohibited (1Tim2).....
Satan tempted Eve with the very thing God prohibited, (eating the fruit of the tree)

lady, prophesy do not mean preach, it means the fortelling of things to come, why are you wearing ear rings and rings on your hand, you do know that GOD said put away thoses type of things, you are not even suppose to cut your hair.

let your women be silent in the churches!for it is NOT AUTHORIZED FOR THEM TO SPEAK IN THE CHURCH.. words from GOD....if u are preaching just so u know and im sure you do, that God do not hear any of it, just read tim, and corith..i can give u the scriptures if you really want them but you need to visit the church of christ if you want the truth..Shame on you. dont mean no harm but you really need to visit the one true church if u want the truth..you dont know any better but u need to learn

There are MANY women who are more "talented" at public speaking than many men. However, talent has nothing to do with being "gifted" or "chosen" to preach. If one reads scripture as it is written, without twisting and/or sugar coating truth until it says what the flesh wants it to say, it is clear: WOMEN ARE NOT CALLED TO BE PASTORS!
