@Covers4Christ Generally, you want to practice slower where you can hit every single note. At this stage, make sure that all of your fret fingers are close (within an inch, or 1/2 inch if you can get it), and watch that your picking is a small but effective motion. Other than that, stay focused and practice your scales--speed is one of those things that you must continuously work on, and it doesn't come overnight

its just a fast fretted note pulled off to an open string. I alternate between the E and B strings. so 5p0, 7p0, 8p0, 10p0 on each string

I learned it from Mike of my band when we used to play through the 2x12s live. It lifts the sound up a little bit. For this video though, I put it there to shorten the distance that the cable has to hold from my amp to the gnx. That way the cable isnt hanging from the amp but stays out of the way
