well to be honest i was kinda bored jus waiting for him to do a run :( and i aint saying that you have to sing with runs to be a great singer but it does make the song a lot more interesting to listen to! the reason the song was good was because he is great and he has a great tone to his voice >>> people need to leave him alone and let him sing like he knows how!! go and listen to some hillsong ;) if you don't like riffs and runs!! First of all I give you props for keeping control and still using proper dynamics to make the song have character. It showed your discipline and maturity as a singer to still not do a run when you felt it. Runs are accents to the song. What makes a run beautiful is when it is properly placed. When you have a singer like yourself who has good intuition, vocal control and anointing that takes the song into a level of praise were people begin to feel something I think you are a really skilled singr
