That's the main link between DX1 and 3? This was a great game on its own merits, but I wish they had kept it closer in design and story to the first one. Apart from a few name drops and this conversation there are practically no links to the first game and the game design feels more like Mass Effect than Deus Ex. I would have rather played a game about the rise of the NSF and the creation of UNATCO, this story is largely unconnected to the first

A new DLC called The Missing Link is coming out in mid October :D But you have no Augmentations, you get captured by Belltower Guards, so they take your Augs away till the end of the DLC and you have to escape using your stealth, and other skills you have without Augmentations.
