I believe this was broadcast on TOTP on Aug 7th 1986 because i remember watching this on a Thursday night and went to see them for the 1st time 2 days later when they supported Queen at Knebworth. If i remember right Jeff Rich was suffering with dodgy guts and missed this performance. Anyway he turned up with them at Knebworth and they were superb!

This looks indeed to be playback. When the Quo performed in TV shows, they did playback almost anytime. I imagine the TV producers asked them to it, cause otherwise the Quo have no reason to do playback. They are great live.

Very nice to see Kenny Jones with them.

Remember it well, was it really 24 years ago??? Kenny Jones 'filled in' for Jeff Rich, such a shame it wasn't a permanent thing at the time...one of Quo's best tracks of the 80's....

Kenny Jones, the drummer in this film was almost part of a three piece "Quo", that almost came to fruition in the late 60's!
