cyprus is the best holiday location in the world my family have been going there for 10 years and love it not long now till cyprus 2012 ......... if your going to protaras area do the red bus tour take you onto the beach in the ghost town area worth every penny

I'm a born a bred Londoner who had enough of the rat race so I sold up my motor trade business and now live in Pernera best move I ever made Cyprus in the summer mental love it, but the winter wicked so much still goes on , go back to the UK never. Stayed at the Sunrise Beach 4-18 July 2010. Really nice resort. Shame about all the Russians though, they all had piss-poor manners and were ice cold characters, but they did manage to provide a source of entertainment as they all dressed like it was 1985 (mullet haircuts & day-glo sleeveless vests!). You can see Georgia Restaurant on this video, gorgeous food, must have ate there 4-5 times at least (though it's difficult to walk past when the owner starts waving at you from 50 feet away!).

aww i was there a few weeks ago the mcdonalds isnt to nice but the place was okay and it was a bit to expensive :L

did anyone go in to the mafia themed restraunt it was amazin they gave me a hat and a gun to get a picture and the cyprits are soo nice well some of them a ignorant bastards x

The best thing would be to get a car. That's what we did just last month. It's cheaper than a taxi and you can go anywhere at all.

It's a shame it has got just way too expensive now,been 3 times in 5 years and just can't afford 2500 gbp self catering to protaras anymore for 14 nights based on 2 adults flying from Manchester in late September.

very expensive now... just rip u off.. expeccially taxis.. so beware....keep to your local.taxi.. dont get one off the street..they charge u double or maybe treble... i live here.. and i always get a cheap taxi to my customers..and he is cheap..

I loved it ! Food was great, weather was great. Water was warm, beer was cold.

Not too keen on flying though, so the 4 1/2 hr flight was not enjoyable.

I went there i stayed @ the paramount hotel werent dat nice buh at least it had air conditioning lolz im going back in august stayin at hotel papantonia now im abit older i think ill enjoy it more :D x

i stayed in the rising star hotel from 31st august to 15th september and it was great. We went the sfinx bar. that was fantastic! loved the variety show. going back next year.
