Roy Harper of all the singers in late'60s and '70s was the one asking the most difficult questions. As the most combative singer around - apart from bands like Hnery Cow maybe - he did not get the breaks he deserved. Fortunately other great musicians like Jimmy recognised him for what he was really worth.
This version is actually from his live album Flashes From the Archives of Oblivion. For anyone in the US who wants it you can buy it directly from the shop on Roy's official website, so there's no need to pay the $30+ for a used copy from a greedy seller on Amazon when you can get it for much cheaper AND support the artist at the Roy Harper Shop.
Folks, this was the album cover my ex rolled ALL his 'herbal' cigs on. The most familiar album cover I know... great track, great Roy Harper. Thanks...
Saw him on his final tour earlier on this year in Newport and there was not a sound from the audience. Apart from between the songs. A mark of the esteem in which he was held. Hats off to Harper...indeed.
HaHa, haven't listened to this in years, brilliant stuff, thumbs up.

The "Ooh Baby I love you my way" part sounds like where Peter Frampton got his "Ooh Baby I love your way" song from.

Doesn't that sound so sad, Roy not touring. It feels like a part of my musical life has gone. He was always the live act.
