Why so much hate on the 8 bit Megaman? My best guess would be that the hate comes from kids under 21, because my generation rocked the 8 bit Megaman games. The X series was fun, but there's nothing like good ol' Megaman 3 to time slip me back to 6 years old.

We don't know if this is a platformer, a beat 'em up, a fighting game, hell, it could be an adventure game for all we know. They already did that in ZX Advent, where you can find a data disk with a picture of the Mega Man 1 cover art. It describes the 'hero' as looking like a coal miner in a colorful outfit. But yes, this reference is much more win.

I'm not entirely certain what to think at the present time. Though I find it a bit early to hate on this game when no gameplay has been released yet. It's merely a teaser trailer. The best Mega Man fans can do at this point is guess at it's meaning. As for me, I'm a little dissapointed that it's not a WiiWare release -- though I can understand why it isn't due to the size of the game and whatnot, but I don't feel the need to buy an X-box 360 for this one game.
