those are the two songs - the one i was thinking about was ein feste burg ist unser gott. have sun these songs in choirs since a kid. they play so perfectly in the film. merci, frodo!

If I'm remembering correctly, there are two Lutheran chorales. The first one heard in the movie is "O Haupt voll Blut und Wunden" [O Sacred Head Now Wounded]. The second one, used in this trailer, is "Ein' feste Burg ist unser Gott" [A Mighty Fortress is Our God].

This is a wonder of a film.But shows without any doudt how hateful Lutherans can be.Being a ex lutheran i can tell most of what you see is true... They can pray for you but not  with you....... An odd religion. Leave the true church this is the end result.....
