  • You buy a slash for a reason... To have it as a trophy truck and race and bash. If you really wanted a buggy, why not just buy one? Or trade in your slash and get one? The slash is ment to be a truck. Not no pussy buggy...

  • @lucasdzik Yes, you are correct, however, I wanted to play around with the slash 4x4 and mess around with it before I got a true 1/8 buggy. My real intention was to wait for the MBX6 eco that just got released. Go ahead and flame on me, but I dont care. I had fun doing this conversion.

  • @lucasdzik Its his truck, and his fucking money! he can do whatever he wants with it.

  • @madde78273 Thanks man! :D lol

  • THIS GUYS CAR SUCKS

  • what body is that`?

    THX

  • @traxxasBashFreak I believe it was the Kyosho mp777 sp2 crowd pleazer from proline

  • what did you use to mount the wing to the wing mount

  • @Battlerobot2 i believe it was a hotbodies VE8 wing mount with a bit of custom fabbing.

  • @traxxasslash26 No, i mean those pin things on the wing, from the WING to WING MOUNT NOT the wing mount to the chassis, oh and thanks in advance

  • @traxxasslash26 oh and what wing is that

  • @Battlerobot2 um, i believe it was a VE8 wing too.

  • @traxxasslash26 hi i was wondering if your Mugen Mbx6 eco body will fit on the slash 4x4 chassis

  • @Battlerobot2 nope, it doesnt. the Slash 4x4 chassis is a bit wider than the Eco body.

  • @traxxasslash26 darnit how bout on a 2wd chassis? i also heard that a stock mbx5 body will work, i plan on converting my 2wd slash

  • @Battlerobot2 definitely not. The 2wd slash is about 1/2 inch wider than the slash 4x4. I have no idea about the mbx5 body.

  • Could I make 2wd stampede into a backlash or Truggy?

  • @twizzler400 Yes, you could. it will just take a lot of time, money, and modification. As well as some homemade "parts" to mount stuff. good luck!

  • @traxxasslash26 Alright Thanks Man, Might go ahead and make a Stampede 2wd Truggy or Might make me a Rock Crawler. Don't know yet. But thanks alot though.

  • @twizzler400 well, in any case, good luck with your conversion!

  • @traxxasslash26 Thanks, I have decided to put money into a 2wd brushless stampede truggy conversion.

  • @twizzler400 awesome! good luck man

  • @traxxasslash26 Thanks alot. I'll have to put together a video with pictures of it when I get it done. I'll send you the video when it's done.

  • @twizzler400 awesome! cant wait too see ! :)

  • those look like mini dirtbike tires :D

  • @KawasakiDude101 Lol, Proline i believe has called them "Dirtbike" tires for rc cars

  • @traxxasslash26 awesome i want one now put some of my full sized ones on there >:D sweet buggy though :D

  • @KawasakiDude101 now that would be an awesome kit! LOL Thanks!

  • @traxxasslash26 i would need a mega chassis extension lol

  • This is nice I'm almost done with mine but need new body have trashed mine I have souch fun with my car I got speshslly made titanium parts and I never break parts like my rustler or 2wd slash what kind of body is that

  • @tstrasser1 glad to hear! its the Proline Crowd Pleazer 2.0 for the kyosho mp777 sp2

  • awsome thanks

  • needs to be cleaned man!!!!

  • did the body come with window masks ?

  • @rccarsrule1000 yup :)

  • @traxxasslash26 ok thanks

  • Lov amainhobbies

  • there is no link

  • how you fix the wing mount and the rear body mount?

  • @slash4x4lipo i used a piece of plastic to mount the wing, through the shock tower..

with the rear body mount, i just used a screw through the gear cover.

  • do you have any problems with ur steering? i bought a ultimate yesterday and when i turn the wheels dont go back to center..any help?

  • @mmrsmotocrossracer nope.. just servo is too slow and not strong enough.

sounds like you may have a bad servo, stripped servo, or it is getting bound up somewhere.

  • Lol that servo sounded bad

  • @jordanmtoth yea i agree with you man

  • What you need to complete is the CVD's ( dog bones ) because those side, sliding drive shafts just give the whole look away but AWESOME looking vehicle

  • @MegaRallycar i agree with you, but the cost of replacing CVDs arent worth it. i have had CVDs on the 4x4, and they break pretty easy.

    Thanks though!

  • is that a 1/10th body or 1/8th?

  • I see, removing the bumpers obviously leaves a arms, turn buckles, etc open to obstacles and rocks and stuff like that. also when you go to replace parts, don't buy more stock parts. Go for RPM, integy, strc... plus its a short course truck 1/8 buggy tires and parts will put more stress on the drive train producing more brittle parts

  • @baconator127 yea i guess..

i have all RPM all around, skip integy, and get STRC.

  • @traxxasslash26 thanks do they fit on the slash easily?

  • @RacingTraxxas they do not fit stock, you will need a 1/8 wheel adaptor.

once you get the adaptor, they are easy to fit.

  • @traxxasslash26 how much is the adaptor?

  • @RacingTraxxas the adaptors like 30?

  • @traxxasslash26 haha time to save up i guess thanks a lot :0

  • @RacingTraxxas lol, no problem

  • Wats the stand

  • @traxxasdriver101 its a duratrax 1/10 stand, :)

  • what tires are those and what rims? thanks and ill subscrbe to you :)

  • @RacingTraxxas thanks man!

they are the proline badlands in XTR compound, the wheels are jconcepts rulux wheels

  • nice tires :)

  • @RacingTraxxas thank you! :)

  • sluggys but pretty cool!

  • @GIGABAJS thanks man!

  • Looks awesome! Can I subscribe you?

  • @MrGidi123 Thanks! sure can man!

  • well no shit its gonna break if you drive it like a freakin 3 year old. ive had mine for a year running almost every day in every weather. i.e snow mud water dirt. i have only broken an a arm but thats cuz i collided with a tmaxx at 40 mph. these trucks are great. i have no clue why every one is putting this truck to the closet cuz its amazing. i race and bash. dont hesitate in buying it. if your wondering what its good for, its good for everything!!! BUY IT!!

  • @baconator127 its a horrible truck. parts break to fast. what its good for is getting sold and trashed and kept in the closet.. id rather get the Ofna SCRT10, which is a ton more durabile. I dont even drive like a 3 year old on my 4x4. with my slash 2wd, i can drive it like 10x harder and it wont break a single part.

  • @traxxasslash26 defect much? all im sayin is for me it works well and i love it

  • @baconator127 well thats great to hear, but i buy all the parts, and those break. ive check everything. loose screws, bent links, bent parts, bad bearings, etc.. there is nothing faulty in everything ive checked.

  • @baconator127 i second that. i have only broken a steering block and a few little parts that were only a few bucks at lhs. I bash hard and race hard. ;)

  • @ZXETIT mehh maybe mines a crap kit then lol

  • @baconator127 thanks mate, my thoughts exactly, u can still have a lot of fun with it but if u drive like a fuckwit then yeah things break all of the time

  • @madmax3022 lol, my 4x4 breaks even when i baby it. my 2wd doesnt. i can literally like try to break it and a screw will just back out

  • anything will have durability issues if you jump it hard etc. i ran my 4x4 accidently at top speed into a skip bin and didn't scratch it, all i am saying is that it has been the perfect truck for me, too bad you feel that way about it, good luck with yours

  • @madmax3022 hmm, explain this to me then. Ive taken my slash 2wd on bashes and stair cases higher than the 4x4 and parts dont even break. my 4x4 will take a 3 stair and snap a tower or a-arm or diff casing. i totally would understand if it was along the lines of driveline issues, but parts, come on...

  • @traxxasslash26 sell it and buy a sewing machine then mate hahaha

  • @madmax3022 LOL

  • if you dont think the slash is good for bashing you must be doing it wrong.... i have had it for months now and very little has busted, although i reccomend to upgrade to mip c-cvd shafts or integy telescopic shafts, if you run anything more than 2s lipo

  • @madmax3022 its because it isn't... the slash 4x4 has issues.. Traxxas with the 4x4 has build issues, and durability issues.. i can bash my slash 2wd alot harder, and little will break.

  • yo do u think the platinum is really worth it, im a light basher and I will get 2 lipos for it. i would prefer a new 2.4ghz for fun, what do u say and also do you think its worth it to make it a buggy

  • @idrummerboy13 not really.. the slash isnt good for bashing or racing.. its parts are weak.. IMO if you want a short course for light bashing, get the Jammin. if you want a buggy, rc8e or losi 8b

  • i want a slash 4x4! my LHS sells em :) the platinum and regular! they are HUGE!!

  • @xXShadowRejectsXx lol nice

  • abit dirty bro lolz!

  • @maltezzr i know, i was alittle lazy cleaning it up, but ive recently done a whole tear down. hehe

  • i have no problem with the chassis, you can tell all the other buggy sucking assholes to fuck off and try to beat it... ive had my slash 20 feet in the air to flat ground, no chassis problems or anything else for that matter...

  • @polar600prox2 Thanks for being on My side! :) I've accidentally landed on the staircase on my patio right in the center and nothing happenedto the chasis! ;)

  • @traxxasslash26 your welcome, and i jump anyhting that can be jumped and i have yet to break a part (knock on wood) .... and plastic chassis i think are better because they break before something major does and or flex so that something doesnt break, and there like 10 bucks lol, and metal does bend so like i said before, tell the people that think there buggies are the shit to come jump your house with you like i did and i gaurentee theyll either chicken out or smash there car to bits lol...

  • @polar600prox2 hahah! thanks for the support. dude and imagine how much it costs just to replace a buggy chasis! o.O like $100.. lHAHAHAHAH

  • @traxxasslash26 ive broke 2 chassis, im on number 3. In 6 months. The rpm bumpers are way better, they disperse the force put on the front end when it impacts. Havent broke a chassis since i put the rpm bumper on. I drive my truck at least 4 miles a day on the 1 mile walks i go on with my dog.

  • @dsmdeegen wow weird.. ive never even managed to break a chasis. ive done no mods whatsoever to even help with strength! i just run it, and jump it. :O

  • looks hella sick man how much did you spend on the upgrades total????

  • @traxxas91296 Thanks man!!

i spent $140, but that was to make it look like a buggy.. other upgrades=around 100 RPM arms, STRC Motor mount, etc..

  • w/o body on it just looks like a slash w/buggy tires,and a wing,

  • @zerkerpure0 not really! i brought it to a hobby shop and there was this one Racer i know and he didnt even notice till i told him it was a slash chasis! :D also the body was off!! :D LOL

  • @traxxasslash26 He must not know ANYTHING about slashes OR buggys then.

  • @zerkerpure0 dude he owns a slash 4x4 and races buggies.. There was another kid with a slash 4x4 and he didnt even know it was a slash..

  • @traxxasslash26 Anyone that races buggys knows almost all of them have aluminum or carbonfiber main chassis.slash has cheap Taiwan plastic.

  • @zerkerpure0 dude who cares.. reallly.. some 2wd buggies have plastic Chasis..

and no Slash 4x4s chasis is made very strong.

  • @traxxasslash26 ya but your slash is 4x4.

  • @zerkerpure0 yea, but its a conversion from a Short course to a Buggy, so whats the point of complaining.. there are some buggyes that do have plastic chasis especially the 2wd class.

  • @zerkerpure0 cheap so i can fix it and not pay a arm and a leg. Last time i checked we have some pretty good plastic now days due to technology.

  • @dsmdeegen that comment was 3 months ago gtfo i dont even play with these "toys" anymore

  • dude i love it!! :DDDDD!!!!

  • @xXShadowRejectsXx i do too this thing is AWESOME!!! :D

  • BADASS man

  • @traxxashpilover Dude this thing is much more badass when you take it out for a bash. its INTENSE!! :D

  • nice job! came out looking incredibly 1/8th scael-like :)

careful of the badlands onroad, theyre like drift tyres, and they wear quickly. and dont run it on your dads prize winning garden! badlands eat grass :)

  • @fathead431 haha thanks! :D

haha yea :( oh well, they look awesome when i drive it through grass at my school. makes it look like a monster :D hahaha
