yeh but the rest of the team didnt do much to help, did they...the fact that they lost because LAUREN and PENNY werent fit shows you how much they depend on those two girls and how much they need to step up.

well they are the main players... how do you reckon other teams would be like without 2 of their best players? the other girls did step up a lot, esp snell and summerton, harrower and bevilaqua were impressive throughout.... it was only the finals game which they didn't step up by default of penny and lauren's injuries.

it wasn't all talk and no show... they didn't expect penny's ankle injury. the US team even said so themselves, once they found out they were going to have a weak aussie team due to penny and lauren's injuries, the result was sealed. all throughout the match they were dogging lauren, because they knew penny wasn't going to pose a problem for them. i commend lauren for the effort she put in trying to fight them off...
