@unis2006 It needs more flexible ability with the effect too. I enjoy the chaining and all, but I want effects to each part itself separate too. They need to fix the reverb effect as it is useless. More osc controll would be great too. And that damn ribbon, I love that thing, but if we could have more control over the arp it would be a huge plus.
Though aside from these things, the fact that you can do side chain compression is a win.
the emx1 needs more synth parts becouse for ONE bassline you need 2+ parts and you only have 5
listen to the "ukf dubstep tutorial" and see how many basslines he has got in one pattern ... you can never do such good dubstep like with programs on this thing
sorry to split hairs here, i think you mean pre-load patterns not preset. It's true that the new patterns use the same synth engines but have been re-voiced to reflect current and new music styles/genres. Although the hardware change is very small, the work involved in creating patterns of this quality shouldn't be underestimated. I'm just so happy these products will be continuing, as far as I know they are available in the UK. Demand is very high as usual :o))

@wheeves but the old one sounds exactly the same. the only difference is the card slot and the preset patterns.

This is probably one of the best demo's I've heard! Awesome!
topomusic 1 year ago
@topomusic its not a demo - he's just running through the pre loaded patterns!
hooligram 1 year ago
@hooligram It is, in fact a "demo" of patterns. "pattern preview" as stated. I was under no false impression otherwise.
