UT99 is sooo classic. Halo will never come close to that status. Only Counter Strike and Q3 are in the same league. These games are part of the rise of mutliplayer FPS and as a result have had the biggest mod communities in history.

I had UT1. I want it back. Old times, old skool playing. I think UT got to much new stuff now... Still, I'm a little Old Skool I guess. I think Diablo 2 LOD is enough for me, it's old skool, and Diablo 3 is to much, so I won't buy that either. The only thing's missing in UT1 is better graphics, not too good, not the old ones. That would be golden. At least for me. UT3 also seems to much for me. In UT1 you have no missions, it's more like a sport to compete in the Tournament. Great "story".

Yup. Proof of that fact is if you play Unreal 1, the Warboss monster fires off this missile from a handlauncher and if you use the cheat Playersonly while the missile is airborne, you can see the Canadian flag imprinted on the missile. I guess it's sort of an easter egg.
