Wonderful playing and singing Larry. I hadn't heard PG do this one but then noticed it's an original. You absolutely nailed his style. Thanks for posting these videos they are really good. Keep writing and playing

I love comments saying " go for your own tone, do not copy Peter Green or whoever". I think Peter Green, Buddy Guy, SRV and all the rest didn't fall to the earth from the moon one day and started playing NEW MUSIC. They also copied somebody before making something called style. So please play like Peter Green or Freddie King or ...because you do it great !!! Greetings from Poland
Hmm this is lame. It's not rock, it's not blues, it might be watered down country... in any case it's just parent music for old people. A nice '52 gt and all the once so hip pickup mods you can think of will not make up for that. And the musicians' age may not be crucial; Johnny Winther and Robben Ford are probably the same age as these guys.
I much prefer hearing people doing their own thing than copping someone else I say "kill your heroes" in the Buddhist sense. I love Peter Green, Warren Haynes, Jimmy Page.... they've given me untold inspiration but when it comes time to step up and take my solo, I've found I must put those influences aside and let my own true voice ring out. If I don't, I invariably fall short of the mark. sorry... rant over. Nice work again. great guitar tone and very nice work from the whole band.
Now this is what I was waiting for...an original. Brilliant! You are a worthy successor to Peter Green. The voice to match, as well. My only wish is that you could also play the harp like Green. His phrasing on it was as amazing as his guitar and voice. Your harmonica player is too well-versed in traditional western melodics. No blues feel. Anyway, I'm now a fan and look forward to more originals.
Yes, you can do the PG Mod to P-90s. That particular guitar was out of phase from the factory, but I've flipped magnets on other P-90 guitars and it works fine.
You guys sound great Larry. Beautiful sounding guitar,is that all original or did you give that the Peter Green work over? I always loved the sound of P 90's. Cheers

I may be wrong, but I don't think you can do the PG mod to a single coil pup Les Paul. Hell, it sounds great as it is! Love P-90's!
