k well ive soldered the qsbs down following xxjonnygunsxx video but the qsb hat is next to the av port isnt like the one he is using so i was wondering if any1 had like a tut on how solder the other qsb next to the av port and how to wire my coolrunner to....because when i try to program my coolrunner with jtagtool it says usb not found so i was wondering if it was my soldering or if i soldered my wires to thw wrong place on the qsb

all you should have to do to open a command prompt is, hold shift: right click the folder you want to open the cmd under and click "open command window here"

i have a huge problem... ive comared two nands, and written an .ecc image to the nand, but when i have soldered the matrix glitch chip on to the motherboard, my falcon wont start at all... it doesnt come a red ring of death or anything. it simply doesnt do ANYTHING when I push the power nor the eject button :'(

I am getting error 202 when trying to write .ecc because my only bad block is of course within the .ecc range. I have error for block 049 at locatoin 3FF. I have a console that is giving me a lot of frustration with glitcing. Are these two related? If so, how can this be resolved if there even is a solution.

Hey I want to do this for my friend I am very familiar with the JTAG but never have done the RGH. I have a question if I were to dump the nand do i need the nand-x or otehr hardware to do it? Or can i just solder to the points like the jtag and dump the nand via lpt?

this truly is the way to go. Three games (Madden12, Forza 4, and Gears of War 3) that froze when playing from disc. The two XGD3 games were burned using the burn max firmware and all had good k probe results. Now since converting my 360 to RGH those three along with all others play flawlessly from a 1TB external HD. Has to be formatted to fat32. Just use a utility called swissknife.

@CrazyGoonModz The other reasons is dont have to worry about disc anymore. No need to worry about firmware upgrades to your DVD drive. Games play better and all glitches like missing textures and melding objects disappear. Plus the 360s hardware does half the work it used to due to not using the dvd drive.

yes if its a 16mb it wont show anything, however mine didnt show anything and was still a 256 bb jasper

do you mean writing the excc file to the xbox? for 1 make sure you created it in multibuilder, then just use jtag tool and go under glitch hack and select write ecc and select where the ecc is and it will right it and you wont have the problem you are having :D

@budusy12, make sure you made your ecc with multibuilder, coolrunner is programmed with right console files, and the soldering is exact! its gotta be one of those 3 bro

yes all wires can be soldered i just advise not to incase you cant program the chip\its faulty\etc

so you dont waste your time and then have to remove the chip and or wires which may damage the pads that are already extremely sensitive

nand x would eliminate the nand reader, the jtag connection kit is not for the rgh exploit it is for the origional smc exploit and is only compatible with xboxs on a dash of 7371 or lower

there is ways around it i would try resoldering your nand connection, you can repair bad blocks as well, and the new slims are not rghable they have a revision on the board they combined the hana and southbridge chip

I soldered all of my wires including the ones on the bottom of the mobo for the coolrunner already before I have done anything. I got bored waiting on my xconsoles shipment for my cables. Should I desolder these points before I get nand and all or will they be ok? The only ones I didnt solder was the 3.3v wire and the orange C wire. Nice tut btw!
