  • ^^ the one man that could defeat Chuck Norris..

  • 1 person was japanese...

  • he seems to be doing really well for his age. i've talked to some vets before who had very foggy memories and also had trouble understanding questions (both audibly and mentally)

  • that one person who didnt like this video should just go ahead and kill themselves. this man is a hero and if it wasnt for him or people like him who fought in ww2 or any other war for that matter we would probably be speaking german or japanese or some other language other then english.

  • @jl4562a yah its a shame so many had to die

  • someone needs to tell those hens in the background to stop cackling so I can hear this awesome vet talk!

  • listen to as many stories as you can and respect him, he was one of the many brave men of that war and trust me, when he is gone you are going to wish you could talk to him more not just about the war but about your family history too and things like that.

  • All the men who served in WWI and WWII were very brave men willing to give their lives for what they believed was right... they all deserve respect. That goes for the Germans, Japanese, American, Canadian, Mexican, British and everyone who contributed to the war including the people who worked in the factories supplying these men... just from what I have read, heard and even seen on TV. Though I still believe it would be impossible to understand what they went through.

  • @joerowland Impossible to understand

  • True hero's. They don't get enough credit for what they have done for us. I don't care if the reason was a good one or a bad one. All gave some, and some gave all.

  • my hero he fought for this great country USA.

  • Realy one should not ask about what they did in the war, because War is horrible.

But when it has gone long time they will prety much just think of the good things.

  • I'd love to sit down with a Vet and hear some of his stories if he's willing to tell them. I think it's a shame they're all passing on

  • a while ago I found out my great uncle was a paratrooper in WWII, he passed away a coupl of months ago. I never got the chance to talk to him, I never even knew. he was mexican, so he served under a visa to serve for the US army.

  • im not sure if he thinks he is a hero but i think he served our country and he is a great man

  • Awesome

  • lol i like his mustache :P

  • Real World Hero , What did he navy ? airborne and which company he was in

  • Hero.

  • I have a 85 year old world war 2 vet as my History teacher, doesn't really like to talk about much of his experiences.

  • thank you for filming this man's (your great uncle's) real story. I'm certain he has more than just war/battle stories though. It would be wonderful to hear those too : )

  • More people should hear his story.

WW2 military men and women are the greatest people I've ever met.

  • Great post Benbab!(It's Camyplace here)

I love history and most of all the stories of people who lived such experiences. Here near the river Po we had many battles during the Second World War: germans, americans, partisans and so on and on....

Umm...Your uncle got a strange "cameo" what is that?
